New Build Maybe might work????

I was thinking bard is pretty darn good i mean u can buff and plus u got some nice atks with horror chord booming chord etc. u think a bard/warlock or a bard/cleric for the ultimate supporter but u can still pure offer and do some major dmg when u need to i mean bard is so underestimated these days everyone thinks they suck just liek cleric cuz no good offensive spells but when u get higher and piss em off its like be ready or its to late ya dig? Give me some thoughts Guys!

If you go Bard/cleric you'll have the best support build do everyone will want you in their party so you'll level up pretty quickly, but if you want every skill it will require a lot of farming

i agree bards r underestimated....i had a pure bard on mars b4 i puit coz of traffic but i cud kill wiz's round my lvl without lag pf course even kill some tankers(if they were busy with a wiz 1st ) overall is a gr8 build with both pure n hybrid int and the buffs help ALOT

Yes, bards are very underestimated due to the very quick cast time.

I was helping some friends out last night at mujigis and could ks a nuker anytime, with higher damage and faster cooldown.

Check the bard guide in the Guides and Tutorials section. Very useful. You don't HAVE to have all the cleric skills, matter of fact, don't even need the attack skills at all.

Matter of fact, I wouldn't even get Offering. Sure it's powerful, but you have to prep yourself - RD, heal cycle, throw it, hope you don't get interrupted...

Ummm... Offering -> Group Recovery?
It refills your HP to max under 0.3 seconds

My point was, if you get Offering off, and then get hit for a few HP while your hp bar is dropping, RD and Healing Cycle pop it right back up WITHOUT having to press a key or get lagged out/killed.

Sure, that works too, then you aggro a few mobs

I use Offering against party giants. Just wait until no mobs are targetting you, Offer, and cast group healing immediately afterwards just in case. Usually your Offering has killed the surrounding mobs or already aggroed them so Group Healing isn't going to make the situation any "worse".

I regularly ks nukers, wizards, my own party members.

And don't discount the value of tambours. That damage absorption can keep your party alive. Plus having an extra resser and bless spell is always a bonus.


I've seen posts about people trying out bardlocks. Could be an interesting pvp build - warlock stun/sleep, debuffs, switch to harp and fast nukes.

im a lvl 34 bardlock and i REALLLY love the build

i own EVERYONE my lvl in pvp
if im fighting a wizard i horror chord them b4 they kill me
if its a str build i go warlock

as for soloing dots + moving march = lovely


and bard/cleric isnt a new build its actually a realllly good build thats often used

but i havnt seen a lot of bardlocks tho

farming bardlock atm

a capped bard might be pretty strong,, but in the lower lvls,, when you have 2 attack skills booming chord and other thingy, its nearly impossible to grind proper,, not sure how it is on higher lvl,, and finding 2 / 3 tier harps is impossible 2,, (d1 ~ d8)
but tambours and dances are nice ,, if bard is in pt, it sure is a nice build, suckie in solo grinding

IMO, bardlocks is a fabulous build. Great Solo-ing (warlock > almost everything else, as far as solo grinding is concerned), and good PvP capabilities too. Stun -> Debuff (maybe even some DoT) -> Stun again -> Bard nukes
