hi.. im thinking if it is wise to replace anti devil with strong bow?? beacuse i only will be using it for the first hit.. and the mp consume cost about the same while the last book is max.. and the point is to Save SP

anti devil is good skill but i think u should get both... since u r str bow anti devil is your life ^^
suggest to u use bow with crit 8 or more...

Don't get rid of anti-devil. Anti-devil is the bread and butter skill for bow. With a high crit bow you will be geting a crit 1 in 3 times or better. Too good to get rid of. Also strongbow is only really useful for the 1st shot against a non agro mob. Takes too long to power up.

Anti-Devil Bow -- Wave

Lv 3 M_LV 31 MP 148 70~95 (200%) +25 SP 158

Strongbow -- Spirit

Lv 1 M_LV 31 MP 230 70~95 (350%) SP 158


Does this mean that they deal equal damage? If they deal the same damage, wouldn't Anti-Devil be a better choice? only 148MP to cast and you get +25 crit.

dmg would be differnet because of the % - strongbow would do more but will never reach anti-devil+crit

What exactly does 200% or 350% mean? I always thought that it was the casting time meaning 350% would take longer to cast than 200%.

350% & 200% works nearly like this :

your physical damage * 350 / 100 + (70 to 95) for strong bow

your physical damage * 200 / 100 + (70 to 95) for anti devil.

As you see, strong bow nearly doubles the damage but as said before, it will never be as good as crit or cast speed of anti devil.

no not really, a strong bow for me does dmg in the rame range as an anti-devil crit. Thats how it is, it just takes longer to cast and owns everything if it crits

well my crits on my anti devil does about 100-200 less than my strong bow. I usually use my Strong Bow to open up on giants, sometimes champs then i hit it w/ anti devil. Sometimes il crit on my anti and it will be like 2x Strong bow.

Best crit ever is Strong Bow + Zerk + River vs. Flower Giant = 5k damage

get both. Strong bow hits harder, but crits less and takes longer to use.

Strong deals alot more damage than antidevil, and when it crits.... oooo dead glaiver.

If I'm hitting a high level mob from a distance (or an unsuspecting hunter/trader) I'll use strong bow as the starting attack, if the mob is close or my level I'll use antidevil.

zerk crits for both are well over 10k on green mobs, strong is 2-3k higher than anti devil.

My results are based on a purish str character.

Someones Said, Combo Arrow is useful for Ice user, but not fire.. what you guys think about this?
If Anti-Devil it's a must.. Then How do you find if its a good plan for a Str Fire Archer

Get all three. I use them every day.

Strong bow, devil bow, 4 arrow (2 or 3 for you....)

And read my post why.

I am 6x STR/FIRE/BOW.

For PvE there is no point in using anything else than the Anti-Devil-Bow line. Damage per Second is still higher for AntiDevil Book 1 than any other Lv60 skill. I wouldnt suggest Combo for leveling, it takes *loads* of arrows.

PVP is a different story of course. For PVP you might want to have a good "starter" skill (StrongBow or last Berserk Book) and Ice+Combo is usefull for PVP too.
