Bladers reputation, True or False?

As you all probably know bladers have quite the reputation for been able to tank extreme amount, not killable but not able to kill others. I would like to know if the second part of thier reputation is infact true. I would only like to hear from higher level experienced bladers please. I've always liked bladers but if I'm full farming my character I will be devoed if I can't even "pwn n00bz" ^^ anyways someone please help me out haha. I don't think a build that cannot kill anyone would be much fun to me but I've always liked the look of bladers to so I'm not sure what to do haha. Help me! Thank you.

tanking, yea blader can tank almost anything, it will only die against mutliple euro/chi nukers when they gang u...

but still in fw, i was able to run away pretty easy with blue pills/vig/ironwall/snowshield
the only reason i could die is i stand there to fight and dun try to run away

biggest enemy is
1. wiz
2. dagger on DD
3. chinese nuker

ganged by them and u find ur hp/mp running down uber fast even wif snowshield/vig

but in 1v1, unless the other guy has sun weap (sun staff/dagger/xbow/spear), u wouldnt find urself dying
the biggest enemy are wiz/dagger wif DD and chi spear nuker (a 90 nuke followed by storm cloud KB is very scary)


as for the killing part, its still hard to kill others, esp pure str (bow/glaive/2h)
given ard 28-30k hp at cap, and wif vigor, its rly pot fight

PS. the only thing u count on as a blader to KILL, is hoping for division(bleed/divsion helps, but not as much as div does, i tested it out numerous times)
...but then again, the chance fr 6 chain is low, and usualli ur enemy will blue pill once u get div/impotent on him

without that status, bladers cant rly kill much even wif the new bicheon force skill
the only chi build u got a chance against is s/s or spear nuker when they are w/o snow shield, and u crit them hard during KD or the 4 stabs

90 hybrid 8:1 spear in prot wif 89 90 normal parts is hard to kill even w/o snowshield on...and it has ~20k hp wif full blue hp/str
and with vig/blue pills, i couldnt kill him at all wif +7 blade

I'm sure capped blader pvp must be a whole new ballgame compared to lower lvls when you have little money and trying to make do with lower tier weps/armour

PVP
I havent done any FW/GW; only pvp experience is free pvp outside sama and frequent ctf's since ~lvl 40

Tbf I struggled at first and wondered about the tanking reputation, but there's no doubt 1v1 at similar lvls there isnt a build that I can't now kill

Sometimes it may be 2 or 3 vs me and depending on the group I'm facing, I might survive

Biggest problems is wiz and rog, either xbow or dagger
Wiz's same lvl can possibly 1 hit me (12700hp currently) as can prick
xbow - KB,KD, dmg dmg dmg, dead

chinese bows are annoying but rarely a problem, but sometimes I struggle to kill them if they're a lvl or 2 higher than me

2h/1h can be v tough - but vital spot usually sorts them out

vs wiz/nuker it's often a case of who hits first is the winner
- wiz, petal sword dance is often a 1-hit kill
- nuker needs a bit more work and hybrids can be v tough

If lucky enough to be in team pvp with a cleric and/or warrior, the buffs can ensure you will tank a whole load of ppl and walk out alive at the end

For those tougher opponents, you're best friend is your KD - keep them on the ground, they cant hit back

I dont have ice - maybe I'd survive far better if i did, but I feel satisfied that I can take care of myself in most situations, and I dont have startingly good gear, but there is no doubt that you really need a good shield. Block will save your life more times than you can count


PVM
The tanking is a godsend.
It is easily possible to tank multiple mobs at your lvl, including champs, and perhaps a giant or 2.
At mob lvls 3-5 above you, it shouldn't be a problem, unless your taking mag attack mobs
Soloing on mobs 10 lvls higher is easy - as long as there's only 1 or 2 - any more and you risk the dmg outstripping your potting. Fun to try, but not v succesful in terms of xp/hour gained

if bladers used the shield damage buff, it would help them kill more, but i dont see them using it in cape pvp as often :S

yeap around 16k hp, and 8:1 can't kill the blader. my brother can't kill me.
