Wizard

Post by luvmangamaniac »

I used to have a wizz but i stopped at lvl 30, because i died too often i got sick of it :x but, considering the high amount of damage they do im reconsidering. but im more of a tanking person, but i still love there high damage. :banghead: but i hate that they die to often (in pvp and grinding :( ) so i have a question, is there any way to make a wizz die less? im consodering either a warlock, or a cleric sub, and if i do go cleric than should i use protector? :? wizz experts out there i need your advice.

Wizards always face the eternal problem of low defense and pot delay. If you can, fight the few magical monsters there are, like Earth Taoists. They should do diddly-squat damage on you. Greens are the way to go when soloing, and if you are rich enough, buy some Drugs of Wind/Typhoon to speed up your tactical retreats.

Start by using ice nukes like Snow Wind or Ice Bolt for their frostbite chance, then go on to Fire Bolt and Earth Shock. Run from anything with more HP than a normal party monster unless you got bless spell.

A cleric sub benefits Wizards a little bit, but they don't have high HP to begin with in the first place. All the healing in the world cannot save you if you are one-hitted to begin with. I may be biased, but Bard benefits you more. You can use Bard to party level since it is kind of a n easy build to play (no offense, but all they really need to do is cast Moving March, Tambour, and Mana Cycle in parties, with the occasional Discord Wave). You can also party with cleric, too, as long as you have buffs and heals. Wizard is great for partying. Either way, a subclass will greatly benefit you.
