Best gear for a warrior / cleric?

On a 1H 2H war cleric max masteries would you wear robes or heavy armor?
I don't like the light armor. I have both sets, but I'm trying to figure out which set to try and acquire 89/90 pieces for, I will not have the money for both.
Yes I weapon switch, and generally have 1H out more than 2H, for 2H is a quick kill weapon that should not be wielded for very long, cannot tank out of bless/skin.
I'm leaning toward robe, I seem to have the hardest time against INT builds over STR builds. Most glaivers die in a few shots, even with lvl 30 cold snowshield.
Bladers are straight annoying. If they buff summit and depth they're easy to kill with dull/KD/ triple swing.
INT s/s 90 cold is the hardest build (imo) to kill as a warrior as long as they have snow.
Warriors will hit much harder, yes, but most warriors are stupid. 2H will never kill 1H as long as 1H sits there and shield crushes for 45secs then unleashes dull + cunning stab + daring beserker comboes.



Those are my opinions, so give some advice, robe or ha? ^.^

LA is fugly imo.

Pimped robes do fine party wise its fighting rogues i have a problem with.

my gear is 100% blues for the most part. 84-88 HA set and 83-87 robe set +5 everything.
I was going to probably sell one set and go with the other but im not sure which to pawn off...

One makes you an excelent party player (HA) the other is more pvp sided / solo (robe)

at cap the robes do just as good. Half the damage is mag from attackers and most of the dmg from rockies is mag.

I just wana know whats better for pvp, robes or HA (in general)

I've got a 1h/2h/cleric and right now im wearing robe because I'm lvling at Black Eagle which got mag attacks..at phy mobs I'm wearing HA..my endset is going to be robe i think..

Robes, practically because you're already STR based. you need to put in the puzzle, so Robe should benefit you in the long run as well. LA would suffice since it has both defense going on, but since you don't want that, you go Robe ^^. Rouges can be easily be neutralized by being active, and keeping an eye around your character. once they appear, you can try either turn rising ( or triple swing them for 3 hits ) or SA them. if you die, you die easy as that.


Heavy armor, because Europeans are meant for parties. Warriors to tank monsters, and int based units to kill off. Robe would practically eliminate your lack of magical damage resistance, plus helps you get that 20% less mp usage .

Not worried about rogue. If you know ones around, go 1H, buff Vital Increase, wait.
When they spring and prick, theres no way they hit for more than 25K crit on a 1H.
Cancel vital, shield crush, sprint, cunning stab or daring beserker, they die cuz they leave DD on.
2H is for chinese killing, the 1h rapes most euro builds.
Ill go robe then. Idk what ima do with the armor I got....ill prob keep it. Ill just go robe most of the time ^.^

Go robe... Because HA even with 1h can get raped (or almost :p) by nukers and wizards.
