I was wondering what the fastest leveling pure STR character is. There is not a deffinate answer, so that is why I am just asking for opinions. Answer and explain please.

Glavie. The damage output is beastly.

Slow though.........Sword or blade is better.....Not only that you get lesser dmg therefore able to stay in the field longer........

I used to think glaive because of my last char until a friend of mine tried out bow, we pretty much levelled side by side until 15-ish where the pure str fire bow completely outlevelled me. Its the range and ease of popping enemies lower than you (Fast Exp/ Fast Time).

well you can always change to Galvie when you get cap

it also depends on the particular lvl they are. the mobs they fight
if there are aggro mobs and many, the glaiver can kill a hell lot of them in no time, where the archer chan mostly kill them 1by1
then if there are less mobs, wich are not aggro ect, the archer has to run less, thus lvls faster
sometimes there arent really good mobs to lvl on. like when shades become "deep green" i can kill 1 shade faster, but since they dont spawn faster, it takes me about the same time to kill 100 of them. and since i get less xp/kill i lvl slower
or now i have to stick with peons for a while. i cant kill yetis fast enough, and other mobs at lv 55-58 are just not good. sonars/peon warriors have a ranged attack. so its very hard to kill them with splash dmg skills (i avoid killing mobs 1by1 whenever i can. its just too dumb slow). now i found a way to aggro many peons fast, so the xp gain is nice for a while
i can remember, ongs were probably the mest xp for me this far

Ya, I'm at the same level, and I'm grouping penons for mass exp.

As every sro player know,acher should be fastest leveling,but IFwithout a sox bow,i think its wouldn't fastest leveling,coz pacheon skill is slow,bicheon's skill is fast,and hv a good damage(pure str),anyone got opinion about this?

antix, i think u should a more experience player in sro,so what r u think about its,and what weapon u use?

Pure Str Glaive

All they need to do is round up 5-6 mobs at a time and then spam ghost petal until they're dead. It's pretty damn fast.

but sure at least bow with crit 8 or more..

bows lvl up faster at lower lvls but i think glavies lvl up faster later on

Bow, BUT! you need a monkey or else it will be the same.

bow, once 2 books of Strong bow are obtained, a archer crits so much that its essentially a nuker, if they move to green mobs that die with a strong bow and maybe an arrow combo, they level fast.

I think that glavie is the fastest.

I have always been told that the STR glavie levels the fastest. But, I have a 4x on Greece, pure STR fire glavie and it levels quite slow. But, that may just be because I am used too the amazing power of my nuker, or that I do not know what to train on. Nukers are easy to find out what to train on, it is whatever you can 1-hit. I have been wanting to try making a bow character, but I think it will be hard with all the new drops and having to carry arrows. Not to mention that bows are the most expensive and hardest to find a good crit for (Not including the new alchemy). I am bumping this again because the poll is currently tied between glavie and bow. I need some more answers before I get home so I can work on a build and possible get back into SRO.

bow only if you have a monkey , but you can grind very fast with glavie too. You just need brains.
If you wanna grind fast as a glavier make sure you can kill in two hits ( soul spear and petal ) while still fighting select the next mob and use ' Lion Shout '
the monster will run to you so you will run less , equaling a bow. The glavie does more damage than a bow. So just be smart and try some stuff different.
Rounding up mobs is the way to go , perhaps go for monsters 2 lvls below you , but you can kill them so amazingly fast.
Also with lion shout you have a chance of luring two monsters , a bow doesn't have good dual attacks and wont have this benefit.
Use the benefits and your brain, then you will grind fast

imo pure str glavie fire, more damege and kill faster

Pure STR sword??? Pure STR Spear??? very worthless since they are int weapons. i say bow is the fastest levelver since you can just aim and shoot

@sparrow: You don't even have to aim

On Topic: Bladers are the slowest. Their only benefit is that they'll never die, and not lose 2%

why not dragon flow?

obviously cause dragon flow takes like 3 seconds, 1 lv of lion shout is only 35 sp . And it goes SO MUCH faster

bows lvl faster than any glaiver
the most time u spend on grinding is to walk on a mob to another
and bow dont need
