Hey. I am making a hybrid sword character. The character will basically be a combination of blader and nuker, but I was wondering if I should make it 1:1 or 70%-70%. I've tried to calculate how the character would look with 1:1 at level 90 (nivlaM), and I will have 74% Phy, 62% Mag.

The main damage dealing skills will be Bicheon, supported by fire nukes. The weapon will be a sword (NOT A BLADE).
The Masteries will be Bicheon, Fire and Lightning, and the imbue will be fire

With the 1:1 build I will get the same amount of hp and mp, but is it worth the 4% extra Physical Balance, or should I make it 70-70 instead?

just do it, no one here really knows since they have never seen it before and I think you should do 70:70

I am also 99% sure that I will take 70-70 to get a balanced damage output =P

U'll get pwn by a nuker ice IMO. 1 nuke + ghost spear = half of a pure str HP = GG for u
1 Strongbow crit = GG too

YOU CAN DO IT !!!!

go spear with it use snow shield and just weapon skill. huk will give you some extra hp passive to survive and your weapon damage + imbue will be strong enough to kill others by the time your snow shield is gone. against int nukers use fan spear or whatever as much as you can to raise magical def. wear protector. good luck

He didnt say he use Ice and Heuksal so u cant have manashield and fan spear ~.~

I don't think this character would die that fast, this character would probably be a really good tank since it has high defense in both stats and can use a higher lvl of snow shield. The biggest problem would be the dmg I think.

yeah +1, even low HP 1:5 and 1:7 cant be kill with 2 moves...not to talk about 70:70 and 1:1 since the have more HP..and snow shield(if u get the ice)...and shield..and KD^^

the dmg is higher than blader but lower than int hybrid. Maybe bich/light/FORCE will help:P

And the build is going to have Bicheon, Fire and Lightning. So no snow shield =P. But it will use protector, and it will have the ability to use nukes as a ranged addition to the bicheon chains...

Edit: Oh and it is not ment to be a tanking build ^^

It will be a little bit higher than pure str but not by a lot

If it's not meant to be moreso a tank, why go so hybrid? The dmg will be pretty low, the nukes esp. w/ sword will be a little on the low end of the scale.

Looking at the balances alone, it seems you'll deal better damage with the 70:70 using a sword than you would going with the 1:1 (more phy based).

I will try 70:70

and i would suggest concentrating on the sword skills and ditch nuking.

interesting:p taking nuke mean more farming. become a pure swordmaster with this build.

but then again, fire should max imbue damage..i think the build with shield can put down snow shield..rite?

Will the Bicheon ranged skill get strong enough to be an opening damage attack?

go 90 fire 90 bich 60 cold 60 light. You'll need all the fire dmg and you can sacrifice 13% from 90 mana to 60 mana shield due to your high HP amount. Also means less farming. Only problem you're going to have is killing people with the build....you'll need a lot of strategy. Bladers depend on crits but the 70:70 will not crit as hard as a blader, yet will nuke less than a nuker. I'd be interested to see this build in pvp...

Would I loose too much if I didn't take it? (Mana Shield)

I have the same question. I'm making a S/S BUILD but I'm thinking of using a blade instead of a sword.

70:70 is better off with Spear or Bow, Imo.

This is my favorite. I might switch to this instead of Blader because Theory says the build is better for stealing.
