My theory about AR

it was mentioned before that attack rating (AR) increases the probability of the maximum damage that you can do to your opponent .
My theory is AR also increases amount of criticals that you can do
cuz since i bought avatar & added (AR 5% increase) on it the numbers of criticals that i do is like doubled
Can any one assure my theory
thanks

I don't think it influences criticals in any way. No solid proof for it.

Then u were just lucky. Attack rating just increases the probability of the max. damage.

how do we calculate the probability of max damage by using the AR figure?the figure is % or what?if AR is 300 then can we expect 300% possibility of doing max damage?is it really probability value or fixed value?

Attack rating is the Rate at witch you Attack the higher it is the faster your attacks are

the reinforcement is what determines if your attack will be more towards the second number for the physical/magical attack witch leave the Attack Rating just for rate of attack

actually you make more sense
but
if reinforcement on weapon makes you do max damage
then reinforcement on armor makes you get minimum damage
then what does parry ratio do ?

wrong.
reinforcement is part of the damage formula i.e.
Mag. Atk = Mag. attack power + (Int stat * Mag. Reinforce)
there are lots of post in forum about this. Attack rating is what decides when you hit if the damage going to be on the higher end or lower end.
Attack rating is what shown as 'hit ratio' in the character stat. so suppose you are hitting some one who has 350 total parry ratio and you have 400 total hit ratio. then you will almost always hit him with damage from you higher end and have more chance to crit. so in that way attack rating/ hit ratio is something that lets you hit more crit, usually if the other person has a lower parry then you have better chance.

So i have tried attack rating with respect to attack speed
With & without the hawk which gives 28 extra AR
No difference at all
---------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion AR doesn't effect attack speed
---------------------------------------------------------
But still i believe it effected my number of criticals (don't know how to test that cuz critcals seems a lot more random)

Its just for maximum dmg. my glavie pwnds (81% AR+10% from Premium+,+10% from honor buff+5% from avatar)Its +6 and I notice that I hit harder then a Glavie +7 (41% ar) (hard to make a conclusion from this, unless the player has the same blues I have)

so would a pure str char do more damage with armor than with garment dude to reinforce ????
May be that's why euro char (warriors & Rogues) come with armor by default & wizard comes with robes !!!

reinforce in gear only affects your defense not offense. the reason warrior come with armor is that they are meant to be tank, tho with other subclass you can switch to other types of protectors.

So you say reinforce on armors only increase ur defense, it doesnt enhance your offense?
Im still confused about the armor reinforcement things, sry

i'm confused too
cuz they didn't write attack reinforce or defense reinforce like they did with physical attack & physical deffense
