With all the monotony of using a spear char, even a high-int spear char with spells, the spear gets really old fast... but with the blade it seems true that you get a lot of fancy stuff like 5-swing moves and charging for knockdowns and etc. The thing is, blades are supposed to be slower in leveling...

Exactly HOW slow does, say, a Str/Fire blader go anyway?

there really isnt a TIME. cuz that depends on the player. are u fast or slow? are u efficient with ur pot settings or no? are u using the right skills? are u overkilling?

nukers are MUCH faster because they have ranged attacks with amazing damage. they can thus 2/3 hit mobs at their level.

glaives have a high damage output also. therefore, less hiting required. also the have ghost spear which helps when getting mobbed.

bladers do take more time. but in the end, im sure ull be pleased with the time u spent grinding. bladers are supposedly pvp monsters.

Lets put this way.

I find a group of 3 mobs and the blader another group of
3 mobs and whe start to kill at the same time.

When the blader is finishing the first one, i alredy killed
my 3 ones and im moving to the next group of mobs^^

Bladers are slow levellers but they dont just "tank" in PvP. In my opinion they can give as good as they get aswell and can definetely kill aswell as tank.

Ok, if i were to put points into both sword and spear for a little bit to try out the length of time each would take to level, how much into both do you think i could get away with without hurting myself SP point wise? lvl 10? 20?

I currently have a nuker and a blader. While bladers catch up in speed a little at 45 with their double stab ability, they still can't get anywhere near a nuker.

Nothing can get near a nukers levelling speed xD

Str Glavie is faster than Str bow, or so was observed when Venice/Greece was opened.

heres how it goes down. bladers are major def and lack attack glavie is major attack and a average def. i like blader better

Pure str blader would be a great build for healers and ressers......Coz then nothing can touch them.....Other than the occasional lucky nuke or hit.......Which would only like scratch the guy......Not even dent them by much unless he doesnt have autopot...........And for a nuker if the first one is blocked then the person has to be running fast.........Coz the blader will have time to attack and kill the blader.....Or at least kill the attack by a)knockdown or b) freeze

answer: Very

slow coz almost always, their attack are only oncentrated on one enemy and their almost with no range at all. but i think they're very good with pvp. especially KD's. i once fought with a lower level hunter lightning. but it took my str/fire glavie char to kill it (it was expected) but if he would have chosen fire as well, i think i might have been toast with all the KD's i suffered. my stuns worked but still KD's annoy me too flarking much.

Lucky nuke? since when did you find a 150 BR shield?
