Hey guys I played silk road way back.. I think I started around beta in aegae. I have always been a full str fire bladder. I am looking for a new build and been reading alot about the new euro characters and they seem interesting but really don't know much about them. I have also seen the full str Chinese bow character this seems like a really strong build.. What build should i go with. I love job wars/ guild wars / pvp.... what do you suggest? Thanks for all the help...
Also an even better question WHICH SERVER SHOULD I GO IN... WANT A NEW ONE WITH ALOT OF WARS!

Warrior/Cleric for great tanking Rogue/Bard for sneaking around Wiz/Cleric or Bard for Damage Warlock/ Sub for being an annoying bugger

That depends on the server. Some servers are stubborn and full of capped and sunned chinese characters. There's no party play and it's basically better equipment wins. Others, such as Venus, are mainly European. Lots of 8 man parties. If you're going to new servers like Venus, try the party playing. It's really fast compared to soloing, but chinese characters normally don't fit in.

Don't let Euro fool you Silkroad has changed much since the old days. A lot of people on these forums swear by Warrior with 2 handed sword with cleric as a subclass. Personally, I go for a more unique build. Whatever you choose, spend some time and find a class combination that suits your play style, not just what everyone else tells you to do. After all, it's a game.

so what if i went into venus and in a few months.. had a fully farmed full str chinese bow with decent gear. How would I stack up in the elites of the server? (I have been there before and want to get back)...

If you love Jobwars, Guildwars (well, Fortresswars nowadays mostly), i would recommend you to join a server with more drama. Like the old servers. Xian, Aege, and i heard Athens is good too. More drama -> More pvps But sadly those servers have a much, much bigger botproblem. Venus would get boring since you pvp the same ppl all the time and there is one union (maybe two with BHA) dominating the server.

There are 3 Legit Unions (soon 4) on Venus. Avalon ~ Controls fortress. BHA ~ Avalon's allies/rivals depending on your PoV. Overkill ~ New Union with mostly 1xers-5xers. Blade ~ Rebuilding.
Venus VS Older Servers. It depends: Do you want Legits or Do you want Botters?
I can't really say there are any elites on the server. If you want to be the best on Venus (i.e.) Hold Fortress. You'll need a strong Union backing you.

Warrior: The tank
1h Warrior: The best Tank in Physical Defense
2h Warrior: The best Tank in Physical Offense
DA Warrior: The best Tank overall
Wizard: High Damage with a low life span.
Rogue: The assassin.
Xbow Rogue: Greatest Range. Best European PvE Class.
Dagger Rogue: Highest Damage Str Class in the Game.
Warlock: A Offensive buffer class. Can also kill well.
Cleric: A defensive buffer class.
Bard: Buffer Class: Defense&Offense.

OK.. so i guess i should go EURO since no one seems to even consider my full str bow idea... i think I will probably go venus or the next server that opens if it will be any time soon.

Well I have definitely decided to go Venus due to its popularity around here and maybe meet up with a few people from the board in game... I don't know if i can do a euro class.. seems very confusing the Warrior sup cleric with a 2handed sword seems interesting but i have not idea what mastery levels or sp. Plus could i grind alone with this build? how would the sp for a good build.
These are my two Pure str Bow build I have in mind
Picheon 90 Fire 90 Light 90 Ice 30 or since i heard Ice is alot better now
Picheon 90 Fire 90 Light 60 Ice 60
What do you think... I have looked for a good guide for a warrior/cleric 2h but can't really find one.. Thanks for being patient with me.

Don't worry, if you don't want to play an European character, then don't. Chinese characters still have a lot of pro's against Europe (eventhough it's also the other way around). If you don't care much for party play, just take a Chinese one, cause they're more versatile.

Take pacheon 90, fire 90, light 90 and ice 30. Ice is only really important for pure int users because of the snowshield. Pure str doesn't really need the ice. In fact, a pure str with a high snowshield is really funny cause he can't use any of his skills anymore.

why not the euro kind of full str bow,,
the xbow ^^ quiet strong,, pretty good hp (since u will be full str), long range,, nice critting,,
i think i may have to go chinese.. i sometimes like the slow lonely grind... i will probably be starting up seriously in about a month, when i go back to school! I have heard something about a force bow???? what the heck is this?

A force bow? Humm you might want to see this: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=87477 Perhaps you could try 90 pacheon, 90 fire, 90 force and 30 light, pure str. Should be able to deal quite nice damage with those debuffs. Quite interesting build to be honest.

Force isn't a no-go. Quite a powerful build, but it is only good if you max the vitals.

That's what I am, with ok to good gear you will have fun and its kinda hard to mess up. Plus you can always start over.

I'd recommend trying the force bow. Dunno, I just have a soft spot for more unique/rare builds.

force blader. ive recently hit lvl 72 and with 3NPC garm peices and a 72+0 blade (and pretty much all grey gear with the exception of a 68+3 shield) have been owning every charecter around lvl 72 that i pvp. including eruoes.
