lol depends on what you are planning to do.. Rogue dagger oder xbow and if you want to go partylvling or solo...
if you go solo it would be difficult cause you dont have recovery divison from celric oder noise from bard (so a sub is needed if you want to go solo lvling on my opinion)
well xbow would might do a good job on soloing without sub im not sure.. you can try it... you can still add a sub..so what is the prob ? xD

Technically, you certainly could.
However, this is not suggested because it would be though of as a wasted opportunity, but it save a lot of sp not to have a sub class.
In short, if you can afford the sp to have a subclass, you are highly encouraged to go with one.

Don't do it, just take bard or cleric as sub, makes it a lot easier.
I am a Xbow only rogue(no sub, no daggers, no poison, no stealth stuff) and I can survive, though it could be much easier with a sub.
So why don't I have sub do you ask?
It saves me a lot of SP, I can easily 0gap all the way up, without having SP problems.
