1. Is heuksal actually needed for a pure INT spear build?
I mean, all heuksal books are physical damage based except the passive and I wont have a lotta STR to do good damage. And the passive increases physical dmage I think.

2. For fire im going to get the imbue, fire shield and flame wave. Do i need fire combustion or fire wall?

3. Do i only need thunderblt force and lion shout for lightning?

pure int spear weapon moves deal VERY HIGH average dmg, but crits low
in fact pure int spear weap moves dmg > pure str non crit weapn moves

its bcuz of the imbue used which is mag based

Is it possible to have Fire for Pure INT Spear?

Maximum damage:
Heuk 90
Fire 90
Light 90
Ice 30
A member of my guild has this build, he is lvl 65 and he does some insane damage

Maximum Def:
90 Huesk
90 Ice
90 Light
30 Fire

Versatile:
90 Huesk
90 Ice
90 Fire
30 light

(remeber fire and ice never mix)

1. What are you talking about? Doesnt make sense to me. None of the chinese weapon skills is either phy or mag damage based as far as I know. Heuksal passive? That gives a hp boost.
You dont need heuksal mastery if you're making a support nuker (ice,light,fire) but then you'd most likely suck in 1vs1 pvp because you've got nothing to disable the opponent. Besides the heuksal skills deal huge damage.

2. They're not absolutely necessary, but I'd get at least the first level fire wall. Your choise really.

3. I'd max the whole lightning tree. You'll lose a lot if you neglect the other series in light tree..

PURE should almost absolutely go 90 cold 90 light 90 heuk 30 fire.
hybrid should go 90 fire 90 heuk 60 light 60 cold. (60 light for 15% mag damage buff)

I thought 90 fire would be a must for a pure int to get max damage.. I always thought a pure ints best defense was a great offense.

Partially true. Yet, having 90 fire does NOT compensate for the massive defense gained by having 90 cold (with maxed snow shield).

There are two possible builds you might want to take a look at:
1) 90 light / 90 cold / 90 heuksal / 30 fire - the classical pure INT spear
2) 90 fire / 90 light / 90 cold / 30 -whatever- (even Pacheon, for the extra attack rating) - a support pure INT build, that deals massive damage and functions very very well with unique hunting and guild/fortress wars. Not so good at 1 vs. 1 PvP, but as far as Ksro videos can tell, at later caps, fire/light/ice nukers do great even in 1 vs 1 PvP. This build can use both a spear and a S&S set, making it very flexible.

60 Light

Would 90 Fire/90 Ice be any good?

90 light 90 ice is a must for pure int, end of story

90 fire is more for hybrid cuz hybrid = more str = can sacrifice abit of the mag dmg buff fr light for the fire phy attack buffs

I'll go with 90 Fire/90 Light/90 Ice

well that's a great choice and don't get the physical buff in fire.. you'll just be wasting ur sp on that because basically what you're doing w/ that build is all nukes.. Good Luck man
