I was grinding with a friend today @ chajikis [Cant spell it! The lv 19 fish monsters ) And met a lv 40 bow nuker. She had fire nukes and light nukes + Pure int. WTF i thought.

Is this build Epic Fail? It sounds interesting.

I have a level 67 pure int bow nuker. A friend gave it to me. She used to be a gold bot.

Besides the bot part, is it an okay build? Can ya kill stuff and does it PVP well?

Basically it is a nuker using knockback instead of shield or extra hp to protect itself.

its the best grinding build, but almost the worst pvp build

not practical cuz u are kinda wasting the crit increase features of bow skills by being pure int

well i have seen few of them, they might be good at pve but really weak in pvp....

+plus bow passive and buffs for increased attack rating (the hawks) ... meaning more consistently high nuke damage, whether you are using bow, sword, or spear for nuking (ie. buff and switch weapon).

hey ... Do not forget that if it sucks at pvp, it means it will suck at job war also !

And this game's most important part is jobbing !

it owns in every aspect of the game except for 1v1 pvp.
when u fight in a group you're always in the back line anyway.

eh, doesn't work that way. someone could just as easily phantom ur way and 2hit ko u

u can always delvl to spear or s/s later.

my previous character is a bow nuker, lv76 was the highest i've achieved.

my experience of pro's and con's

Pros:
-Extremely fast in mass-mob grinding, longest range / fast cast.
(spam 2nd+3rd book mindbow series, followed by a heavy nuke to score a full 3-5 hit effect).
-Very fast for powerleveling.
-Perfect for uniques, high damage output from a long distance.
-Great MP saving built for making gold via grinding.
-Un-ks-able. Range + cast rate = word.

Cons:
-Absolutely weak in defence. (even with protector/armor sets)
-1- hitters in pvp for almost every character, dies easy even with snow shield.
-Sure-Lose situation in jobs.

Yup ... as someone said , you can always delevel it to Spear / s/s

it gets better at next cap for pvp :S 6kb+5kb combos...

you'll be hitting like 3k each combo hit from imbues
