If you were only going to choose either Xbow or Daggers which would it be and why?

P.S Xbow take something like 60k less sp then Daggers.

get pfarmed for both.

That is like another 200k sp
How long would that take? and how much would it cost? *to get pfarmed*

But I'd still like to know what you'd pick if you could only pick one

hmm draggers probably cuz i like to pvp

xbow for grind
xbow + dagger for pvp (for pros only)

if ya not pro enough, juz xbow will be fine

alot of ppl say dont use daggers while killing mobs... i dont mind im a rogue cleric so i can actually thank the mobs and 1-2 hit them ( lvl 67 two hitting 76 mobs) . if im in trouble , ive set up my bar in a way so that i can switch t ocleric rod and heal within seconds , so no death... only thing is its extremely stressful especially inparties to switch quickly, so thats why im tryign to lvl my xbow up


ALSO USE BOTH WEAPONS WHEN YOUR DONE YOUR BUILD! why... its called pvp with daggs , change to cleric rod , heaven glare , run back out of range , switch crossbow , and bolt their ass to the ground. this way u have a set plan in the pvp and wont say your screwed if daggers dont succeed

Xbow its good for grinding as they mentioned they are also a problem on pvp against nukers. Xbow are cheap dagger is pvp for sure they suck at grinding xbow also great in taxi at very high lvl

the only reason daggers could suck at grinding is becuase people dont know how to use their cleric skills during each grind lol im able to heal my self within less than a second , i heal , switch back to dagger and 2 hit the mob at most ( by the way this mob is atleast 9 lvls higher than me). you do loose a significant amount of defense so really its up to your playing style and how your used to it. really , i guess its because ive been training with daggers since lvl 20 and now im 67 , so ive gotten used to the advantage and disadvantage towards this approach, so its up to you and your playing style

but again, if u want to enjoy and appreciate rogue , u get both trees... why.... becuase you get hte option to use two weapons. Chinese wish for that kind of shit lol they can only use one weapon and eventually they get bored of it and start a euro atleast here you are given the option of bow and dagger , so if u really get bored of training wiht one weapon, switch to the other. afterall , its all about having fun and not acting like a mindless bot training your life away

i'm trying xbow and loving every second of it. it's like a pure str with chinese nuker dmg.

oh ... daggers not for now when i level/farm a little. dun even have any sub class. besides, after reading this thread, why would i want to bend 360degrees, do triple somersault and the yadda-yadda just to stay alive with a dagger when i can just shoot with a xbow? hahahaa ... well ... long road ahead for me xbow.

hm daggers might be able to kill mobs 10 lvls above it but not on a 9 gap :S xbow can kill mobs 11 lvls above it with a 9 gap no problem

but if you are just pfarming, just get enough for daggers, you can 0 gap for xbow skills

u HAVE to take both or else bladers/warriors will litteraly KICK THE HELL out of ur as*
if u dont mind being weak to some classes then just go Xbow, but u'll need a VERY strong weapon with crit 17+ to kill tank builds with no cleric support

-another solution for using 1 weapon only is to go rogue/warlock.. u can go off with only daggs, but since the build takes alot of sp so it would be the same if u farmed daggs+xbow+cleric in the 1st place

-a third solution is to go only daggs with cleric sub.. downside is u'll grind very slowly, so the extra time u'll take to get the cap would be the same as the extra time u'll take to farm Xbow skills (Xbow makes u grind like insane.. at lv 60+ u can grind on mobs 10-12 lvls above u)

I'm 0 gapping to 72 with just crossbow skills, stealth, destealth and duplicate for the hell of it.
With crossbow you'll easily be able to kill monsters and level up without the need for a subclass, therefore less farming.
I'll have EXACTLY enough SP to get to 72 if I only get the skills mentioned above and then I'll farm for cleric+daggers once I get to 72.
My way is easy, fast and effective way of getting to a high level without the hassle of having to pay for taxi's and risk being scammed while you're trying to SP farm.

Alright so skip the subclass and just get xbow for fast lvling....got it.

DAGGERS ARE OVERRATED IN PVP,,

yes they do more dmg,, but in pvp if you want to come near by enemy you will need to use stealth,, since thats the most obvious approach peeps just put moving speed on and run around waiting for your stealth to run out or use pills,, IT JUST S*CKS IN PVP TO HAVE DAGGERS

xbow in pvp is actually very usefull ,, first hit with KD skill (if it dont KD´s you need the bard moving speed xD),, and if it KD´s you are nearby winning the pvp,, xD

because XBOW (in my opinion) is better in pvp and in grinding,, you should (how obvious) take XBOW if you dont want to farm to much,, but i farmed for both,, never use the daggers but the moves daggers make look great xD

I have both xbow and dagger beyond level 60. For aggro mobs use xbow faster and safer. Non-aggro mobs use dagger sometimes faster depending on how fast the mobs spawns next to each other. Overall xbow wins in farming mobs.

For pvp you will need both dagger and xbow. For enemies that you cannot 2-3 hit kill you have to turn off the extremes to figh. In these cases there is no advantage in either weapons. Dagger deals higher damage but have very long skill recharge so if you cannot make the kill after 2-3 skills then it is over. Xbow do not deal as high a damage but its skills have kb+kd and the skills recharge faster. Use dagger for higher instant damage, and use xbow to keep the enemy 's hp low as you dagger skills recharges.
