Light and Force is alot better but
Pure Str Blader is probably best for that Ultimate tank.

Snowshield doesn't matter that much as a pure str

Full str without fire ... is just stupid Fire gives you @ 90 like 17-18 % extra phy attack not the mention the Mag Defence..

Just make it 70:70 and use 2 imbues, you freeze, run, survive and you are less MP pots dependent. Leaves nothing to be desired.

exactly. and heres why. snowshield relies on large amounts of mp which absorb damage as if it were HP. because int chars have alot of MP this makes the skill very effective and efficent. but for a str char with very little mp. you dont get that much more damage absorbtion out of the snow shield and you end up wasting all your little MP

I think Fire gives u more than what Cold can offer
Fire gives you extra physical dmg which you really need (since int based chars deal relatively more dmg)
Besides, cold gives you physical defense which you already have by being Str based.
And also if you are Full Str, having a high Snow Shield will burn your mana WAY too fast and you don't have much...
SO just forget ice and get fire

snow shield will just make you run out of mp even at 20-25% and fire gives you about 18% more phy attack at 90, why would you want to use ice instead? (other than to be different) but if thats the case then

by not taking fire you will be loosing mag defence and also be loosing the extra physical increase. I dont know how well this build works but if you like snow but want to stay stong you could always try 90 wep, 90 ice, 90 fire 30 light, you will lose parry bonus and magical attack increase, and wont be very fast on foot. but if you like Ice and Fire why not try it out. Enjoy your build thats what matters.

i agree with you, a str build without fire is losing vital phy extra damage and imo will fail. stay with ice lvl 90 and 30 light you´ll lose parry ratio an phantom walk but you can use speed drugs instead of grass walk.

also to add yes your build will tank well with snow on, but remember your str and you dont have alot of major mp. If played smart with KDs this will give you chances to use MP pots but your snow is goign to drain your mp :/ i think its an interesting build though, as i said before, just have fun with it thats all that matters. Just to add if you want to lvl faster, ive found wearing Armour with str chars effective and grinding on physical attack base mobs. your HP pots will be very minumun and against other str chars in pvp you will more than likely win

i could be wrong im mearly presuming if someone can confirm this though it would be better.

Just a thought based on my theory. To all those who says maxing Ice Shield on full str character will drain all the mp, how can the mp be drained when there is only a 0.5 second mp pot delay? Sure your mp will go to zero for 1 second. But in 0.5 seconds your mp will go back high enough for you to use a skill, with a lot of mp to spare. Physical attacks skills generally cost a lot less mp than nukes.
Another thought. If the situation is really that bad, can't they just cast level 1 Ice Wall once to block one nuke, and then the next second their mp will go back to full? And then follow it up with level 1 Fire wall. If both used then knockback the enemy once and the the mp will be full again.
Taking chinese full str out though their hp pots were tough. I do not see how taking the mp out will be that much easier when the pot drinking rate is the same. Like I said, sure the mp will go to zero for half a second. But right after you will have enough mp to use a skill. Nukes does take 2-3 seconds to cast after all.

your mp will be drained fast you can't substain a 50% snowshield a pure str can substain at most a 25-35% your mp simply won't pot up fast enough for a 50% snowshield

Because ice wall doesn't block nukes... lol< And then follow it up with level 1 Fire wall. If both used then knockback the enemy once and the the mp will be full again.

I think without the Fire tree, you'll miss out greatly on the magic defence. Personally, I'd choose Fire over Ice. Fire will give you more attack power and magic defence and it can also help you spot those nasty stealth/invisible players, while Ice gives physical defence. Something you already have plenty of as a full Str.
