I just hit 30 and got my nukes. I tried them out and realized they did the same amount of damge as my spear skills which are 10 lvls behind. But they cost more mana. So should I throw out the nukes and just go with spear skills or what?

No.. of course your nuke skills are weak.. you JUST got them. You have to wait a little bit to get stronger nukes and a higher magical damage.

Believe me, once you start to get to a higher level nukes OWN. That is assuming you are pure INT or an INT heavy hybrid. As long as you are over 90% magical balance you should be fine.

well, right now im lvl 34 and comparing my 250% nuke to my 200% throw, the nuke only does like 500-800 more dmg lol nuke does around 1.7-2.3k on things my lvl and throw does around 1.3-1.6k, nukes don't really greatly outdmg spear skills at lvl 3x but i kill flowers in 1 nuke so for me lol, then again i dunno if my spear is as high of a dmg as a sos+3 can be cuz its 420 dmg and I havent seen higher, most i've seen was a 401... so yeah... you'll notice a difference at lvl 32+, a little bit anyways

what is your int:phys ratio? your balances? what weapon are you using?

It does "only" 50% more damage, and you don't know if it's worth it?
