I am wondering what everyone's opinion on 1h/warlock or 2h/warlock. Because i am currently a 2h/warlock and I am finding it a little aggrivating having to switch between weapon and shield, but if I were 1h/warlock then i would not have to switch at all. I would also like to know how fast/slow 1hs are at training solo.

1h are GREAT training at mobs when you don't have cleric as sub
the blocking is so damn good, it's orgasmic.
i can tank up to 3 mobs at once w/out dying unlike the average 2h.

well 2h can solo better than a 1h, but 1h can solo at higher lvl mobs, imo for solo go 2h

2H because it is for PVP and Warlock sub is for PVP too.

go 2H i you are going to be plvled.
1H tanks better than 2H, if u will party or solo

i think 1h would be easier less wep switching and you have the shield crush when mobs get too close.

1hand/lock is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better.

you can stun, disease, sleep,trap, debuff, wheel bind.
then switch to one hand, shield crush for dull and instantly you have 50% damage increase for cunning stab cuz of that dull.

now you do more damage than the two hand and have way faster skills so its much harder to interrupt you. You also have a shield with high defense, critical parry passive, Block ratio passive, and physical defense passive.

1H SWORD/WARLOCK

i think you need to be 1h sword so you won't spend time to use shield

and some times you will die before using the shield


shield will make more defense and block

alright, I have made my decision to pvp with 1h, but still no one has answered if grinding with a 1h is a lot slower than a 2h.

yes lvl with 1h is more slow than 2h in solo, in party 1h do a better job

does anyone know which of the warlock skills are absolute damage, and how much damage they do maxed? I cant seem to find this info on any guide .

go ahead lvl up both 1 h and 2 h sword.
if you plan well, you dont really need every book of 1 h/2h skills, especially after lvl 42+.
3 atk books from 1h and 3 atk books from 2h should be enough.

then, grind with 2h. and pvp with 1h most of the time, plus when you put somebody into sleep, switch to 2h, boost your phy atk, and one shot with the crazy swing of 2h sword!

by the way, pimp all your gears with MP+, hehe. The biggest problem of your build is "Not enough MP" to perform warlock skills.

if you choose only 2h, i recommend remove sword completely, and use warlock/dagger, which can provide the strongest phy atk in sro, much stronger than 2h sword.

Use debuffs when you fight a char without holy spell. You will find your subclass useless vs. cleric builds.
Get 2H to pvp vs. people with holy spell. Just farm more, lazy head.

1h/Warlock.

Weapon switching is faster in pvp when its gonna be long and u need to stun again, and u have shield all the time

1h also better for mobs ^^

comparing 2h/lock vs 1h/lock rite
so 2h dmg > 1h, why would 1h > 2h?
2h has slower skills but higher DPS

harder to interrupt you

hmm not really, 1h skills are all 3-6 hits combo, if ur enemy has shield, gets blocked more

if u hv enough sp, recommended to get both 1h & 2h, if not weapon switching and the passives of 1h > 2h
cuz warlock sub alreadi add alot dmg, so u need more defense

why get 2h as well?
in groupfight/job war/fw, most likely enemy hv holy spell , if u are 1h/warrlock, u are screwed cuz debuff will resist 80+% and ur 1h dmg ain gonna help much, so at least u still hv 2h to help abit in dmg
