Hybrid Wizard?
I'm making a wizard (sub-class Cleric) and I'm wondering if I should go INT Hybrid (2 INT: 1 STR) or go full int?

Re: Hybrid Wizard?
No way, both builds are intelligent based, the strength points would be a waste.

Re: Hybrid Wizard?
I won't go 2int:1str hybrid because that way you cannot survive anyways and deals weak damage. I recommend either 4str:3int so you can use Life Control 24/7, or just go full int.
Re: Hybrid Wizard?
Go full int. If you really insist on going hybrid, never let the magical percentage fall below 95%.

Re: Hybrid Wizard?
been thinkin of hyrbid ints for euros myself ... wiz dealing insane dmg ... perhaps can sacrifice some dmg for some HP by adding str.
2:1 will be bad. perhaps 5int:1str could be considered.

if you do that your life control damage would be the same as a full int without life control lol.

One thing that I try to avoid, and I suggest that others do as well; is avoid ratios completely and go for magical balance naked. If its above 90%, you will be fairly decent, although you might need life control to do the same damage as a pure int without it; and if it comes to that point, you added too much STR (and that defeats the purpose of having more STR in the first place).

Re: Hybrid Wizard?
IMO, its better to be hybird wizard, but only in one case, if you can afford SoSun last degree "D9", then you would get an equal damage as full int wizards but with much much more survivability.
