i just have a quick question. i have wiz\cleric and i was thinking.

do i need charity favor armour and glory armour?

the only way this help is if im wearing my cleric rod. and since im a wiz i only use cleric rod to cast recovery division bless res or holy word.. so its like 3-4 secs that im wearing a cleric rod. i NEVER have it long term. so whats the point in having it? or am i missing something?

Since it would only be in effect for the few seconds you are holding your cleric rod, it would probably be a waste of sp imo.

??? Not every Wiz/Cleric plays only solo. When you play as buffer/healer, those passive are doing a huge difference. The passive + the 2 def buff makes the cleric really hard to kill with such an insane defence.

If you dont even have STR/Int buff and some healing skills and you only intend to use cleric to save your life when grinding solo, I guess the passive arent needed.

But as soon as you job or pvp, you might find some use to the passives... The cleric could survive where the wizard would die.

You need to be wearing light armour as well as holding your cleric rod for those passives to work.

They are important in party play. They apply to the person you buff - we tested it. Gives them extra Str, Int, defense... explained in the skill description.

But if you're just soloing, don't plan to play cleric in a party, and are wearing robes, the passives are a waste of sp. (And I'm guessing if you aren't going to party as a cleric, you probably won't be jobbing as a cleric, either.)

i do cleric buffs. etc etc for when im jobbing but i dont specifically stay as cleric im always a wizard cuz im strong and can tank.

if i buff str\int and switch to wiz staff the buffs go away.

if im jobbing i only do mage and phy buffs but i always switch back to staff.

another question i have whats the point in lvling up firebolt when u have meteor?

Becuase the firebolt shoots quicker, so if your vs another mage you use it and unless they use the same attack you'll always beat them, its the fastest nuke of the mage.

And the fact that Meteor has a 10 second cooldown, whereas fire bolt only 3; but the two have linked cooldowns and in the end, do almost the same damage (meteor has slightly higher damage).
