So I made a pure support char (Cleric/Bard) on Venus and the partying is going great but I never get any drops or gold so I'm starved for cash atm..

I'm looking to roll a second character that I start can easily and farm with on a low budget. Something that won't die so easily but can kill pretty quick. I started a s/s nuker but getting to 30 is proving difficult on a low budget. I'm level 18 atm.

If the build your thinking of isn't on the list just comment and give your suggestions.

IMO rogue is the fastest build for solo , and with bard as sub is the easiest for sure, you just need to be careful with giants.

Like NobleHunter said, I believe that Rogue/Bard (...or Wizard/Bard) are the fastest grinders around...as long as you avoid giants lol..

Other than that, it's the Pure int spear or s/s with archers tagging close behind.

Wizard or Rogue with Bard sub works great. Also, consider pure INT spear and 70:70 archer.

For Chinese: Str Bow or Pure Int Spear.

For European: Rogue/Bard.

the poll says it all ... chinese nuker or euro xbow. i voted nuker, only because i'm more familiar with it and enjoy playing it more. euro solo on party mobs may be a tougher due to 15s pot delay. chinese nuker seems to have more options to plan for such situations (eg. shield for blocks, switch to armour, use frost nova, spam vigor ...).

the only thing i find a problem with chinese builds when you are low on funds would be the cost of armor. since chinese can tank more and have no pot delay i find i end up using more pots and the gear gets pricy. where as my rogue at lvl 45 was still wearing npc 2x gear just had a good xbow.

so i suggest an xbow rogue sub bard

dont bother with pure ints if you are using it to farm gold... you'll end up spending the gold you make on pots

go with xbow/bard then use robes, you'll use like 100 mp pots (any size, i was using small pots at lv 50 still) every 1-2 hours and like 50 hp pots

from bard just get noise/speed/mana cycle if you just solo
dont cycle that much but its nice to have incase you run out of mp while grinding and have to finish a mob
