I'm now Confused about being Nuker.

okay, here's what i thought.

First, i thought nukers should wear ARMOR.

2nd, i thought sword and shield is best.

3rd, Which should be my main attack?.


Mine right now is Lighting nuke and fire nuke. i also use fire buffs, and ice buffs, but no ice nukes.

also, i only leveled up my sword skill to 20 so i can get the passive skill for SHIELD thingy.

What i'm getting confused about is, should i go lightning with cold? and why? or should i stay with fire/lightning.

Oh yeah, this is going to be a "PLVLER" toon, and i don't PVP at all or do jobs. So, do i need fire nukes still or...........

just take all three nukes with a spear.

so levleup lightning cold and fire with spear and garment.

Yea it's going too be a plvl toon.

I'd go Spear nuker, Instead of a s/s though... Reasons why cause every 10 levels you get a 100HP boost, Which is nice, And if you're a hybrid it's even better.

As for armor.. They can either use Protector or Heavy Armor. ( Would get Snow Shield. ( Highly recommended. )

Since you use Light/Fire nukes, It would be up too you too get ice nukes..

( I've got a S/S myself, But Pure INT and Light/Ice only, I wanted too get Fire nukes for earlier levels ( Cause it's stronger then light. But lightning's last book is the strongest outta all of em. )

But kinda failed that character, I Didn't SP farm.. So my skills weren't awesome, All i did was get plvl'd ( Huge Waste I think it's a waste cause once u get 30, It gets a lot harder too level when you've never really lvled on ur own. ), And i wanted too go spear. For dmg. ( I had snow shield so didn't worry. )

if you aren't worried about farming or anything, yes take in spear/light/ice.
actually use that plvl toon for ongs and you'll do GREAT!

and besides.. not much monsters deal mag dmg.. and if they do you can take em on... not like you're going to plvl them with monsters 5 lvls ahead of you.

It WILL be a plvl toon, but it's not YET .

for grinding i think prot is good, too many phys mobs do justify always running around in garms. as well if you find a good spear use that isntead of s/s since if the spear can help you one hitt he mobs, you wont need to block anything.

if its going to be a plvler yoúr better off going fire light ice so you have a few more nukes to work with. ice rain, all the lightning nukes and shouts, and all the fire nukes. makes an awesome plvler, though you could also go wizard...

Since when do nukers wear garments? ( I'v never seen 1, Unless they got pimped out blues, [ Most wear protector or heavy armor. ] )

Head to dw south gate, and watch some high lvls pvp. You will see most nukers are using protector or garment, shield sword, and a good amount dont use fire. If you still have questions, some of the guides that I have been through do a great job on what to do.

Imo as its built for plvl I would sugest taking 90 fire,light,cold with 30 spear for the passive and also for wep skills prior to lvl30 when u have all 3nukes avalible. I would also suggest prot as it gives decent defense in pve without comprimising on speed, it also has the -10% mp cost which would help u last longer when grinding.
