Hi, there have been a few mentions abt fire shield fix in this forum and I would like to hear from more folks if it is indeed true that
Fire Shield is "fixed" to be effects reduction and no more % reduction like it has always been, and so it will be tougher to gain immunity to effects like freeze. Take a vote and say something if you know for sure

. Thanks.
(Well, technically speaking, even if fire shield is now effects reduction, you could still be immune to effects, but will perhaps be tougher than fire shield was still % reduction.)

From the couple of PVPs I had and some status making mobs I grinded on, nothing changed, I haven't had a single status on me (I don't have any pills in me, so I'd notice any status), therefore Fire shield works as before.

False, I think. I went to spiders and I didn't get frozen once.

thanks, guys, for your inputs.
i'm uncertain about the "extent of the effects" from mobs. i'm not sure if a number or quantity can be put to the effects from mobs. for imbues, there is a number or quantity associated with the effects that you are dealing. my guess is pvp will be the most accurate means of determining if the fire shield is "fixed".
