Meaning of Phy.Att 20 ~ 24 (267%)

Hello,

I just want to know what is the meaning of it :?

Phy.Att 20 ~ 24 (267%)

Maybe 267% is, as reinforce value, must be multiply with your str value.But I'm not sure.

what are the stats on your weapon? usually that has somethin to do with it.

This value is from 2H warrior skill lvl 1 : Bash ( Phy.Att 20 ~ 24 (267%) )
For example we can take the 2H sword Lvl 1 with this characteristics:

Physical attack power: 42.2~51.6
If we use the skill "Bash" , can we calculate the average damage ?

20 - 24 is the damage everyone does
the (267%) thingy is the reinforce dmg you do
it multiplies your phy attack force (stat window) with 267% I think
So the higher the first thing, the higher your damage, no matter what phy attk pwr you have
The higher the percentage thing, the more important it becomes you have a high attack force..
That's all I know

I believe it is like this:

20 ~ 24 (267%) = 20x2.67 ~ 24x2.67 = 53 ~ 64

Sorry for the mistake : weapon phys attack is 18~22 and 42.2~51.6 correspond to reinforce value :oops:

I'm agree with you Jaapii.
But Mousetrap, you calcul mean that a full int char can make same physical damage as a full str ^^.
So if we are lvl 5 full str
str: 36
Weapon Phys attack : 18~22
Weapon Phys reinforce : 42.2~51.6
Skill Bash : 20 ~ 24 (267%)

This char's attack will be : 18 + (36*42.2%) ~ 22 + (36*51.6%) = 33,192 ~ 40,576

And if we use this skill, our damage will be :
damage = 33.192 + 20 + (36*267%) ~ 40.576 + 24 + (36 * 267%) = 149,312 ~ 160,696

Hope it's correct :roll:

And how do you calcul the damage make on this monster :
Movia = mobs lvl 1
Phys def = 9
Parry ratio = 27

ziuf, this guy is right.

It has nothing to do with your physical attack power. Otherwize, a pure int would do the same ammount of damage with one arrow from an arrow combo (50% I believe (41% or something at later levels)) as he does with strongbow (350%). Is this true? Not at all!

I think the % Multiplies your damage near the very end of the damage calculation.

Damage calculation is something like the weapon damage calculation first, Something like:

Code: Select all

(physical damage + physical reinforce*str)+(magical damage + magical reinforce*int)=X


Then one of these two things happens: you add the damage of the skill and multiply it by the %:

Code: Select all

(20 ~ 24 + X)*2.67


Or you do the damage times the %, then add it to X:

Code: Select all

(20 ~ 24*2.67)+X


I believe that's how it goes.

I use character str value 2 times in my calcul...seems like wrong

I think the first one is correct :

(20 ~ 24 + X)*2.67

So we have :
X=18 + (36*42.2%) ~ 22 + (36*51.6%) = 33,192 ~ 40,576

and
(20 ~ 24 + X)*2.67 = (53.192 ~ 64.576) * 2.67 = 142,02264 ~ 172,41792

This char have (142,02264 ~ 172,41792) as attack power when he use Bash skill. :)

but this damage is different if you hit a Mangyang ...or Shaitan :roll:
So we need take care to calcul the defence value of the opponent.

And now

how do you calcul the damage make on this monster :
