So I full farmed a bard / cleric for 90 cap. Optimal for party playing, unlike my chinese. I have began being plvl'd, and as I am leveling up my bard / cleric skills I notice the bard attacks lack. It was intended to be my main class and was intended for pvp <.<. I also noticed a few skills weren't as I thought as I was planning my character [the mana switch skill thought it was like snow shield: 50% damage MP absorbtion...] So I was thinking, should I drop bard for wizard, or drop cleric for wizard. I just don't think my current set up will be effective for pvp. I have never seen a bard pvp'ng in my days. Need thoughts and opinions.

Please when you reply, pick 1 of the three options below so I know what your final decision.

Keep my build for now: Bard / Cleric
Drop bard and become: Wizard / Cleric
Drop cleric and become: Wizard / Bard

I am 50 at the moment. Collecting curst hearts will be nothing, and I also have 1b gold so dlvl'ng isn't a problem^^

cleric/bard would be best cause your offensive skills for wizard won't be used cause you would have to equip the harp for buffs but the tele would be nice

If I changed to wizard, it would be my offensive class, with bard as a sub class or partying class if no DPS is needed.

hm you've never seen one in pvp? they are strong if you learn to play it
they dont have many attacks, but you can use the 2-3 attacks and loop because of fast cooldown

bard skills are quick.

theyre cool looking, i would compare them to a chinese nuke, maybe a little weaker sometimes but they cast twice as fast.

neither bard or cleric are a pvp class, so if youre goin for a heavy pvp build you either need warlock or wizard.

To be honest, i would stay bard/cleric. If you ever need to kill someone offering is the way to go, thats what it eventually comes down to anyway cuz most people feel a lot safer with the cleric defense buffs than being a wizard who dies in 1 hit just to 1 hit people.

bard/cleric gives you speed, buffs, decent defense (as cleric), and a 1hit kill skill.

At level 60 you'll get another nuke spell, which makes your attack arsenal complete. Per nuke, bardic spells deal less damage than the cleric spells, but the bardic spells execute a lot faster, so your damage per second as a bard is a lot higher than that of a cleric (not counting blowing yourself up every minute). I've been grinding as a bard/cleric for quite a while now, and I'm loving it. With noise I only face 1 enemy at a time, and I can 2 nuke mobs a few levels above me, which is similar to the damage of a sword nuker. As a support character, bard/cleric rocks. Bardic buffs are amazing, since they are based on an increasing % of protection/damage rather than a linear increase like clerical buffs.

I cant wait till i get a new hard drive to fraps my bard in action.
