Dual Axes + Warlock.

Me and my friend are farming a new char for him.. since he only has a chinese. He is planning to take take both 1H and 2H skills with Warlock Sub all the way to 90. But since we got a really good char and a solid party to get powerfarmed into, I was wondering if Dual Axes will do well with warlock? They might prove to be useful in job because of the imunity.
Anyone got experience?

Every warlock has problems against a cleric that is his lvl but thats another topic.
And when I think about DA being useful if you dont have a cleric sub, it would be against other Warlocks. Because of the imunity.

I don't see a big problem when you have 2 stun + Sheild trush since you full strong and can tank more , specail one hand/warlocks
That why i say a little problem and with full int warlock/cleric can deal with holy world if he know how to play
that
if he know how to play

it should be a good build too, like a 1hsword/warlock build (even if you have lower defense, you'll have higher damage).

That's a pretty good video.
I think he just lost to the 2 hander in the end, simply because he wasn't level 80, while the 2 hander was.
So the axer was missing the extra instant stun, and the last axe combo xD

And he said he +9 , btw he Debuff slowly :/
Maybe he tired

Not quite there yet , 42.
Althought, I powerlvled most of the time, so far so good. I used warlock skills mostly in PvP. Other than that, DA skills good enough alone.
From what I read, 2 DA skills deal greater damage with debuffs (not talking about normal debuff boost).
I choosed DA because of 3 reasons:
1) Greater damage deal with warlock debuffs (not proved myself)
2) 2 AOE skills, helps you grind faster
3) No KB-KD but stun. Party friendly. I always hate party with a 2H.

of coz axe deals more dmg than 1h
any two handed weapons deal more dmg than single handed weapon (except cleric offering)

Thanks for the answer coz im comparing skill between 1h and axe e.g last skill level 1 make me confuse
crucial rush 702-858 phy damage(DA)
daring beserker 702-858 phy damage(1h)

Even last 2H skill has same damage in description. But in reality, it is all different.

stupid build imho... if ur farming a warrior warlock, then just get 1H (the best tanker) and 2H (the best damage). what will u do with something in between??
plus.. its annoying to switch between warlock rod/shield and the axes. the whole point of warrior/lock is to always have the shield on, or else u would just better fam a dagger/lock since the opponent will be stunned/asleep anyway and wont attack you

isnt switching betw warlock rod/shield and 2h the same annoyance?
anyway axe should be nerfed IMO, it doesnt hv good dmg compared to 2h and no KD
and way too many 4 hit 5hit combo which loses to dagger in dmg and axe crit cant go as high as dagger, i would say axe is kinda below avg build
BUT ITS COOL looking

and unique, how many 80 axe warrior u see? 99% are running wif 2h and 1h
be unique is the reason i wanted for axe/warlock
if u wanna be the best and do the common thing, den do 1h,2h/warlock (warrior/warlock aint really a common build anywayz)

the only time i could kill a lvl 80 chinese with DA was when i had warlock subclass, without warlock debuff u cant kill anybody besides wizards and rogues, i use dual axe in 8pt grinding gives me more defence than 2h sword so i can aggro all those pt mobs without dying easily.

i also choose DA warlock. This build is too limited at my server. Most DA turn into rouge Xbow( i know str is hard too grind with except with range)
the most common warrior build is 2h/1h cleric...DA/warlock is kinda unique. and 9d axe warrior in armor look real nice:P
i u want to playsafe( dont want to waste grinding time) do the mighty warrior with god blessing...
want to experience something else try DA/warlock but remember!!! when every body go for special build, nobody will become special

u wouldnt get every 1 going this build cuz it simply isnt the best build, juz a cool build thats all, and u would most prolly lose to 2h/warlock actually
but pure str warlock is simply godly in supporting

juz like pure str cleric

in my opinion dual axe vs other str warlock has some advantages since it has some protection against curse. but will have trouble with 2h/cleric since u cant curse and u dont have shield:P

nah..
1-which is better, that resistance thingy or a shield, with huge passives increasing blocking ratio, critical parry ratio, and phys. def ?
2-which is better, that resistance thingy or a passives giving u +9 crit, a chance to reflect attacks, and kds?
3-which is better, that resistance thingy or a couple of daggers with HUGE damage and crits, dealing numbers up to 30k+ on a debuffed opponent, and the ability to attack from range with Xbow?
i hope that does it for playing this build for any other reason than being fun...

If a DA/Warlock looses to a 2H/Warlock it wont be due to the 2H's debuffs because the DA is supposed to be immune to almost all of the warlock debuffs.
That is why I see it kinda useful.

Afaik you wont be immune, you would just have a high resistance to debuffs (50% more than normal players, with DA equipped).

yup, and 2h has too many high DPS skills, daredevil, KD etc.
but would be a long fight though, both pure str wif 2 stuns/2 sleeps to play with

why somebody put the build aside if it is fun then:P one of the most valuable thing when u play game..for fun

but 1h surely fit warlock since switching is simpler and shield trash is in the line of 1h skill. but playing euro warrior u can switch type of weapon easier because u only need to delevel the skill but not the entire tree(like chinese

)

I am now 45 1H-DA warrior\warlock.
PvP: Use 1H with warlock. For faster kills, use DA with warlock

My best bet in comparison to 2H is, 2H skills can be intercepted whereas DA skills can't be. 2H skills are slow to cast but DPS (Damage Per Second) is greater than DA. But I dont know if it really is a big disadvantage? Experienced players-Help needed here.
PvE: Use 1H in parties. If your cleric is good enough switch to DA. Even act as a warlock if needed.
How many people you know like to party with a 2H? (Another 2H

)
Powerlvl: Use DA.
No KD-KB with AOE skills, it is safe to say it is faster than 2H.

I believe that 1h warrior benefits from warlock the most, having a shield to block and KB with. Sure, 2h and even DA can kill faster but they will also die faster. It doesn't matter how fast you kill because the debuffs, stun, sleep + bloody trap, sprint assault, and shield trash should attack cancel your opponent to hell and make you virtually invincible. A 2h warrior's knockdown skill is more dependable than DA's stun skill anyways. I fought a lot of DA warriors and they could never, ever stun me with their skills. Knockdown is more deadly, and Knockback is very reliable.
Off topic: It's a common mistake to think that you can use both sleeps one after the other. I was really excited to get the two stun and sleep skills at 76, but it was a letdown to learn that Deep Slumber's cooldown is connected to Slumber's cooldown. When you use Deep Slumber, both sleep skills go on a 20 second cooldown. I haven't found a use for Deep Slumber yet except to put groups of enemies to sleep, since it's kind of useless in 1v1.

Fortunately, Wrath Daze and Daze share separate cooldowns (except that Wrath Daze also has 20 seconds compared to Daze's 10 seconds).
