Does increasing weapon skills help nuker?

If I get wolf bite spear lvl 1, should i keep lvling it? Or will the dmg not increase since I am using pure int?

pure ints don't need to rely on their phy att skills, wether sword or spear

but wolf bite spear is just the most worthless heuksal skill out there, so don't upgrade it under any circumstances better use that sp to upgrade the lion shout series or you wave nukes lightningbolt etc

actaully, ghost spear petal (with imbue) does more dmg (about 2x as much or more for me) than lion shout, and at the same distance.. 5 enemies ata time.. its good for when i drop flaming death from the sky and aggro 5 mobs at once

If u are pur int u dont need the weapon skills cuz u mainly use the nukes.
I advice u to use more the nukes but if u want the hp passive u can lvl up the spearmanship.And if u have some + sp u can invest in some skillz but the most nukers use only nukes

dont put down skills just couse you dont know how to use em
wolf bite spear is an exelent skill IF you know how to use it

but for spear nukers i would advice to take all the books in soul departs spear series the stunning is very handy for when thay get close
also ghost spear attack series book 2 and 3 , thay are very fast , good follow up on soul depart series and thay have a chance knock back ,
and range isnt your problem as a nuker and a melee guy would lose some time getting back into mellee range

if you're a magic user wanting to use a spear skill then i'd advide you getting the ghost spear series for it's quick execution.
