30 weapon is almost useless; put it at 90 or 0. The same goes for force: put it at 90 or 0.
90 light is a given; it contains the magical damage increase buff.
Force is optional; it provides you with a cheap SP build, nice debuffs (vital spot), therapy circles, and res. Very effective in pvp in the absence of clerics, and good against party mobs/giants as well.
A minimum of 60 cold is needed IMHO. The snow shield is just too good to pass up on, and the additional physical defense is also very good to get.
Couple of builds that would work:
90 fire, 90 lightning, 90 cold
90 lightning, 90 bicheon, 60-90 cold, 30-60 fire
90 lightning, 90 force, 60-90 cold, 30-60 fire

IMO NO!
you cant kill a person with nukes over and over . u need weapons skills to time your nukes
a nuke takes long to cast by the time you cast anther nuke.
1. they will stun you, knock back, knock down maybe freeze.
you wont cast much nukes without weapon skills to help.
a spear nukers usally stun you then charge up for a nuke.
a bicheon nukers usally knock down and dash away to charge up for a nuke.
there are bunch of ways to time nukes with weapon skills.
so imo having all force is bad.

You seem to be under the assumption that the OP wants to do 1vs1 pvp. That's the only system in which the situations you describe come to mind. For pve and group pvp (including wars), weapon skills are not nearly as needed. Even my hybrid would not like to stand toe to toe with a full STR while a bunch of wizards nuke the area. My HP simply can't cope with such splash damage, let alone direct hits.

go light (90 imbue), ice(90), bicheon(90) and nothing else- that build is good for pvp and pve

No fire? That means without a cleric no immunity, which will be hell with regards to ice, poison, and zombie.

I'm starting to lean more and more towards a fire/light/cold build myself for my Sybian. It would mean some serious deleveling, but I'm not that much into 1vs1 pvp anyway, and it would stop my worries for the loss of immunity as well. I haven't decided yet; I'm first planning on leveling my other two characters to level 90. My force nuker hardly needs SP, so I can use 0-3 gap to level 90 without farming, and my bard/cleric should be welcome in any party once he hits level 80 (not that I have trouble soloing that build; it works quite well actually).

with 30 fire you can be immune

Indeed, but you must have missed the part where he wrote: and nothing else. Possibly he doesn't want to delevel fire when the 100 cap comes, but that's his choice of course.

my cousin has a lvl 68 pure INT s/s nuker with fire 68 light 68 and cold 68 and if it wasn't for his SUN sword +7 he would have sucked at pvps...
if you go all force that you have to one hit anything or you die and it's very very very boring to play with as well
WEAPON SKILL IS A MUST

ok 90 fire/light/ice is good for support and pve only.
a 90 weapon/light/ice can support,pve and pvp.

THINGS BOTH BUILD ARE GOOD AT
they both can surivive well with high ice and snow sheild.
there both exeillent with pve beucase of nuke and lion shout.
there both exillent of supporting becasue of lightning nuke and lion shout..
90 weapon/light/ice
depending if your weapon is bicheon there better support then all force.
because when your team mate KNOCK DOWN you can join to do serise damage at once with your team.
Conclusion:
it seems to me 90 weapon can do everything all force build can.
but all weapon is better at pvp then all force build.
this is all based on my opinon and sorry if i make speeling mistake...
this is all based on my experince on jobing, pvping and fortress with my lvl 73 and 80 character.

There's one thing a force build can do in the end that a weapon build cannot: be immune to cold, shock, poison, fire, and zombie. Considering the mobs we're facing at higher caps, that is a rather important thing to me.
