I've been thinking about a blader build that I'd like to try:

bicheon 90
heuksal 80 (or 90)
fire 90
lightning 40 (or 30)

With this build you get:

* the skills from bicheon
* the HP bonus from heuksal
* the option to switch to heuksal if you want
* the phys. damage bonus from Fire
* the magic defense from Fire
* some speed from Lightning
* some parry from Lightning
* some magic damage bonus from Lightning
* the most powerful imbue

The drawbacks (or some of them) are:

* you need a LOT of SP if you want to use both bicheon and heuksal
* you don't have Snow Shield

What do you think?

it would be point less to have 80 hueskal and 90 bicheon
becasue your blade move would be stronger so no point in wasting sp into hueskal and switching to lower damage and lower def.
you can use the 80 masteryies on maybe bow or force for more damage or ice for better phy def.

but 90 cap dual build for str players suc.

I guess you have a point, unless you just get heuksal for the passive (an extra 2,079 HP for Cheolsam Force lvl 8 ).

So:

bicheon 90
heuksal 90
fire 90 (or 80)
lightning 30 (or 40)

That way you can grind with the glavie and PvP with blade.

Why not Pacheon? instead of heuksal.

The combination of bicheon and heuksal for a str based build is perfect for all the cape pvp fighters, but other situation this build isnt as effective.

Because you don't get the extra 2,079 HP.

pacheon 5 hit KB and attack rating increase passive/buff > the extra hp IMO
and crits more than glaive too

pacheon when enemy is coming, den switch to bicheon when close enough

That's a really interesting concept.

The dual weapon has had its peak at the current cap. This is practically the best example there can be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56fxjcUlcVI

At 90 cap, it loses plenty of mobility. 30 lightning doesen't offer anything. You can grind decently, but with higher levels coming, the build will be outrun heavily by max-lightning builds, when it comes to leveling. It can, of course, pvp well. The potential can be seen in the video. At 90 cap, bladers can only get stronger, with the new shield skill, and the quad stab. However, I don't think it's worth it to go dual. You have to spend loads of extra money.

90 bicheon/90 fire/90 lightning/30 cold is the conventional, yet safe way to go.
I don't know. The dual build might just work, it's just hard to level and play in places where it requires mobility.

At 90 the passive gives 2.826. If you were talking about Heuksal - 90.

As Stress already mentioned, these builds have had their glory at 80 Cap. Eventhough I really never saw a point in the dual weapon STR based build, I have seen afew good ones... I have to disagree with Stress about the 30Light part at 90 cap.. with Bards in job parties and Speed drugs (Which are expensive, but I personally manage to afford using them).

If you really want to make a blader, I would reconsider dropping the Heuksal tree for Force.. With 80% chance of Division at 90 cap and all the other goodie goodie debuffs.. it can prove useful. Its a shame you cannot take advantage of the MP Passive since the last 30 Mastery points you have left will be used for the Lightning tree.

A bard or a speed drug will never compensate for a ghost walk, followed by a quick mars, to kill a Wizard in life control or a crossbow rogue.
