Rogue - Warrior?

Hey all,
this is my first Post and im German, so my English isn't too good I think. I hope you can understand me anyway!
So, I wanted to create a Europe Char, a meleeclass like Rogue or Warrior. I like dagger as good as crossbow. Now I wonder, who would own who in a 1 vs 1 match? If they both had NPC Equip (and Rogue with Dagger desperate)? I just can't decide wether I should create a Warrior or a Rogue. I want someone who lvls fast, and is good in PvP! I personally think Rogue has the cooler Skills, like Stealth or Poison or Monstermask/Duplicate! Who would you advise me to create? And whats the best Subclass for Warrior or Rogue with Daggers or with crossbow? My friend couldn't decide either, so he made a Rogue/Warrior, is that good? I don' think so, do you? And if my choice is rogue, is it good to skill both crossbow and dagger line?

Go for rogue its awesome

I would say go cleric for sub class or bard

yea rogue is a fun build, go xbow for now for faster lvling and kills,

later on, switch to dagger since it'll do higher crit damage if you cast stealth first and use the skill 'prick' (?)

as for the sub:

bard: better for soloing, moving march, noise, mana cycle and dances
cleric: better for pvping, fortress war, trade runs: BLESS SPELL, recovry division, cycle, holy word

You seem to like everything about rogue, so go for it. You WILL be strong if you learn how to use it. Everything you need to do to be strong is to learn how to use your character.
I'm not sure, but I already heard of a rogue/warrior, and it looked like its a strong build, but you need to know how to use it to be strong, though If you dont like warrior, dont bother using it. I would suggest you to make a rogue with another subclass.

You could try Rogue/Warrior. I know some guys with that build and it works. It only requires a different tactic, but that way you can try them out both. But remember, you will never be such a strong Rogue nor Warrior as someone else with another sub. Eventhough, that doesn't mean that your character is weaker. As I said, it requires some different tactic and skill.

go only rogue pve with xbow and on pvp daggers for sub cleric maybe(i dont if u wanna gap 0 whole game than no cleric before 80 lvl)

Just a fast Off Topic Question: What is a good crit for dagger and x-bow ?

I read in the rogue guide 14+ but with what crit you will crit a lot xD?

May can give some percentages ?

with critical 14 you should be able to crit enough, but if you want to be very good you need at least crit 16.

On Topic: If you like to pvp choose cleric as subclass. If you don't give a lot about pvp and more about pve choose bard as subclass.

Warriors and rogues are both very good chars. But if you want to do range attacks and normal attacks go rogue to switch with daggers and x-bow.

The topic starter didn't say he was new to the game, he said that it was his first post.Also the word 'noob' has evolved from the meaning 'new player' into a general insult in MMOs.So whether your lvl 1, or lvl 90 you'll still be called a noob(after beating someone, or losing to someone in pvp).

So what you typed comes off as, or what it sounded like you were saying was, 'the classes are great, but you'd fail with them anyway'...

It's not a big deal, because it's not like it's going to start a riot, or at least it shouldn't... The avatar isn't what we had a problem with. It's the fact that you seemed to be flaming him just because he had it, thanks to the way you placed your sentences and what you typed in them.

Think about it. Simply because he wants a European character doesn't mean he's new.He may have finally gotten tired of his Chinese character, or maybe he made a Euro before, and it didn't work out.You have to think of all the possible scenarios.

Sorry, but I'm sure everyone was waiting on this. Had you posted something of relevance, instead of trivial things like 'a stolen avatar', or making your post look worse by calling him one of MMOs general insults, I can assure you that you wouldn't be having this problem.


We understand the meaning you used for the word 'noob' is different than what we originally thought you meant by it now, so theres no need to jump at us about it.

In any case, I was only trying to show you what you did wrong, nothing more. This section is supposed to be used to help others by discussing different character build's pros and cons and comparing them if asked to do so, otherwise it's to help someone understand what they want their role to be, not a flaming area.
