Ok . I Have a Rogue Will i go Warlock or Cleric ? .

I Need to do the More Damage Posible .

warlock...you gotta keep switching back n forth with your weapon for PVP. Cleric, you just switch to cleric rod just to buff yourself. Warlock would kinda be pointless...unless you want to keep switching your weapon to fight with warlock skills too.

Warlock sub is overkill, IMO. Rogues are already 1-hit kill builds. The debuffs are not really necessary, whereas healing/bless spell can really help.

You get more damage with warlock, but you lose the protection cleric offers. Read more here, it should clarify:

Any rogue that goes subwarlock has confidence issues and probably shouldnt go rogue at all.

rogues arent meant to debuff enemies first...that just contradicts the whole point of stealth
cleric is good for 2 skills imo...recovery division and bless...so i would vote cleric
but the point of rogues is to move fast and kill even faster....therefore bard is the best sub...speed really help when you're in stealth..so yea id pick bard...but since its not there...cleric

why is everyone is against warlock sub for rogues?, everyone saying the rouges dont need debuff and i agree but what happens when your thieving and you find a hunter full sun pure str blader coming toward you. 1) you can go stealth and rely on crits but he wont die OR debuff him and put sleep on him and you will have 20 secs to do whatever you want to do with him and he wont be able to do anything. I know sun bladers are rare and warlock takes away the point of being a rogue but you dont have to use warlock every single fight, you can simply put DD go stealth and prick. just because you have a warlock sub doesnt mean you have to use it every single fight, just use it when its necessary.

and pwn him 1 hit thats all and if he hits u he get less damge (BLESS SPELL) the end

wizards dont 1 hit full sun bladers!!! (are u really a wizard??)
full sun bladers can tank the hell out of anything if they r not debuffed with warlock spells first. oh and even with a bless spell on, u will be 2 hit from the sun blader instead of being 1 hit (gratz).
i totally agree with what Verfo says.. warlock is a SUB MASTERY ppl.. u only use it when u NEED it. opponents such as bladers or 1H warriors with strong clothes cant be normally taken out..
also warlocks arent only about debuffing. stun by itself is extreemly usefull, given that u can stunn multiple opponents and kill them all alone without them having anything to do.
and for those who say rogue/warlocks r screwed against anyone with holy spell.. U R WRONG! maybe warrior/locks can screw up agains holy spell cus they initially dont do much damage. however a rogue/lock can just stun --> DD --> kill the helpless opponent.
oh and for ppl saying bard mastery is the best.. ever heard of speed drugs? they give u even MORE speed than 'swing march' does. u dont have to waste a complete mastery for something u can get from an NPC.

first of all its "the MOST damage possible" (sry cant help it )
if u really want the most damage then just go wizard/lock..
but i guess u dont want a build that does high damage.. u want a build taht's strong. u know full int bower do huge damage, but they are considered a horrible build.
anyway.. my vote goes to rogue/lock

why you say warlock is a sub-mastery build...it could be a GREAT main build too.

and i think you should go with cleric...you will RARELY encounter sun bladers...don't think of extreme cases...

with cleric (with recovery division) you can tank pretty well even with dagger desperate or xbow extreme on. oh and if a sun blader DOES come along..just cast bless spell and healing cycle (quick cast) on yourself..switch weapons and quickly kill...may take you more than one shot

If you want damage go Warlock
If you want defense go Cleric

I would go cleric.

actually thats a wrong beleif that is very common..
with DD on, u dont tank well even with bless spell active. this is because DD decreases ur defence by a certain parcentage not with a certain number..
ie: DD decreases ur def by 75%... say ur original def was 1000. u cast bless spell to make it 1400 for example. after casting DD ur defence will decrease 75% of the 1400 = 350 only.
(not 75% of the 1000 then add 400 to be 250+400 = 650)
conclusion: u cant take hits with DD/XE on whatever u do.. the best way to be safe with DD on is a stunned/sleeping opponent, which makes my point.
id also like to add that im not thinking of extreme cases only (sun blader).. i am thinking of builds like the 1H warrior which is the toughest opponent a rogue can have IMO (+++phy def, +++ crit parry ratiot, +++blocking rate, damage good enough to take out a rogue with DD/XE). warlock as a sub can decrease the survivability of such an opponent ALOT. (not to mention a SUN warrior !)
