Since the lightning chain and the 2nd double stab came out I'm not sure that spear do more damage than sword. What do you think? With 90 cap you should be able to stab the oppenent 5 times and all stabs have 50% Damage Increase. Thats the reason I'm asking for.

spear does more damage ofcourse , and will ALWAYS do more damage. the game is balanced.. u cant hold a shield and do more damage cuz ur no superman.

well if u have an sos sword and a normal spear the sos will hit more ^^

But with the NPC stuff the spear will hit better.

The game is balanced

Less damage, better tanking ability.

Spear
More damage, less tanking ability.

Spear will do more damage. That's why it is a 2 handed weapon.

Can you switch weapons fast enough to make a difference in pvp? If it takes the same time to switch as it does to pull 2 combos is it worth it?

spear physical attacks weaker than sword since when

um spear phy attack on weapon is stronger than sword and skill wise to and both have about the same number of combos

and um i dont think u can do 5 stabs u cant hardly do 3 lol my advice use the 2 stabs skills the 1 stab takes longer becuase of that i dont think u can do 5 stabs i could be wrong i don't know unless they increase the time the enemy stays on ground when knocked down then i can see 5 stabs happening

I have a level 80 pure int spear and it hits so much harder then s/s but i also use s/s when i dont have my bubble on, so i tank a little better.

switching is easy
its doesnt take time to switch at all

switching is easy
its doesnt take time to switch at allt

u didnt see euros swiching between 4 weapons b4 as obvious (1H/2H/Dual axe/ cleric..!)

72+7 sword = 72+3 spear

spear does more direct damage. however i feel that because of certain skills such as KD+stab and the 2 skills in bicheon that inflict division and bleed make it an overall better int build. but others would disagree. thats just my two cents.

heres a little heads up for you guys who think spear will own.

yes, you can kill almost everthing in 1-2 hits, but almost everybody can kill you if your not watching or if they sneak up on you. you can and will excell in large guild wars, fortress wars, etc. just keep in mind that you'll die about every 5 seconds.

now a days people use some thing called "snow sheild"
only euros can sneak up on you casue chinese characters u see them coming...
but u can detect euros with a skill (forgot the name of skill)
