so for my new char should it be wiz or rogue? i know wiz levels the fastest, but how much slower does a rogue level? and are rogues as useful in parties as wizards?

if you're going rogue...I suggest bard being the sub...a str cleric is never much good in pts and with a harp your mp is increased so if you keep mana cycle on yourself you are able to tambour/dance and heal the pt's mp at the same time without using up any pots...with a str cleric..you'll notice your pt dying pretty fast without a bard...btw, I'm rogue-bard and that's my 2 cents

I lvl about as fast as a wiz if soloing because of the range...wizards don't get the chance to AoE that much when they solo (usually fire bolt and ice bolt/that 3 hit skill)at higher levels and Rogues can pretty much grind without moving....especially at 42 with an xbow...if you're smart..you can be outsite the range of the blood devils and still attack them..so you won't get hit...it's slow but sure is fun

I've had a 52 wiz/cleric on a diff server before and I normally ended up going to ujigi areas or sonars..places that don't aggroe bc soloing as a wiz you can 1 hit, but you're also very fragile..so without bard you can take giants, but you'll still die once you get mobbed...

If u dont mind farming a little and dying then go wizard you'll enjoy it.
If u want to be high lvl as fast as possible go rogue and choose only one weapon like either dags or xbow, unless u want em both. Thats up to u.

Fast lvling - Rogue

Go rogue, dagger and xbow.

actually having a cleric as a sub for rogues isnt about actually USING the cleric as a cleric.. its only a sub. cleric with rogues is VERY usefull in soloing, as it makes u take down giant and parties with easy, unlike what will be happening with bard sub. also it makes u much stronger pvp wise.. just see Devil_lowU's video pvping. he litteraly destroys anyone with bless on while using the dagger skills

k im definately going to go rogue, and ill just have xbow. i still dont know if i should take bard or cleric

i have a lvl 50 xbow
and i think that bard will be good for u cuz xbows and wizards are not tankers(well without out extreme they can tank, but with it they can't)
i belive that cleric is good only tankers like 2 handed sword and 1 handed sword
with extreme u can kill +5 mobs over ur lvl before they even reach u

Go rogue man, just get cleric sub cause all these noobs don't know what they are talking about. Recovery division heals you. Bless makes you invincible, and holy word protects you from status effects. When you go thiefing, trading, or hunting just buy a mothertrucking drug of wind.

If you're only gonna play with the xbow, take the Bard sub. An xbow rogue doesn't have much benefits from the cleric sub. Cleric sub offers a lot more for dagger sub, while bard sub offers more for xbow. (can't really explain it very well, but you'll notic once you'll start playin')

ya i think ill go bard. need the speed increase and other stuff, and since ill kill stuff before it gets to me, bless and other stuff from cleric is pretty useless

actually the main benefit from bard isnt speed.. its noise. u can get speed from drugs, but noise is invaluable. cleric or warlock are still better subs though

Be a pure Rogue X-bow with a Bard sub like me . You can get into parties easier and the buffs benefit you as well.
