Stunning with Soul Spear - Move

Post by Dancin »

Are you able to stun a lvl 80 with the first Soul Departs book: Soul Spear - Move? I'm asking because the skill has only Stun Lvl 2 and maxed Stun Lvl 3. If I go Spear with weapon only to lvl 20, am I able to use stun at PvP (with soul spear move)?
To say since, the being is not or the non-being is, is wrong to say against it, the being is and the non-being is not, is right.

Ok but what is the difference between the Stun of lvl 1 (soul spear move) and the stun of lvl 8 (soul spear emporor) then?

I know about warlocks that the oppenent will ressist the stun if your skill level is not high enough, but I think it has nothing to do with Heuksal stun.

I believe the level of stun dictates if the skill has the % of stun advertised. So level 2 stun has a 20% chance of stunning someone level 20 and below and level 8 stun has 15% chance of stunning a level 80.

Might be. If so I'd like to know the probability of Stunning with Soul Spear Move a lvl 80 char.

The higher the lvl of stun the higher probability you have of stunning a person of your lvl. A lvl 80 with SSE has an extremely high chance of stunning a lvl 20 however the lvl 20 wouldn't survive the blow so its harder to prove. Same goes the other way. A lvl 2 stun is an extremely low chance of stunning a lvl 80 with. It lowers by a certain % each lvl of character.
Similar to kd. The lower lvl kds have a lower probability of knocking someone down. I believe it says 50% probability (lvl 36)Something like that.

Maybe there are enough people with Bicheon or Heuksal to Lvl 20 to ask for...

With every new skill, the probability increases (Stun chance %) Regardless of the level of the character that is Casting the skill and the one getting stunned, the probability stays the same.. e.g as stated in the skill description.

Not true. Stun is 5 seconds.
Stun is always 5 seconds unless you hit them again. Stun can be stopped by the caster if they continue to attack.
Say I stun someone and then hit then with GSM, it automatically "cures" the stun.

1.u can't pill away stun
2.yes, low lvl warlock stun will also work on lvl 80 but the probability is very low.

The probability will be as low as it says in the skill description.. doesn't matter if the opponent is lvl 1 or lvl 80.

no no no! I had a clerick with warlock sub. I kept warlock lvl only at 20 and Stun on lvl 1. I was cape pvp with people with much higher lvl than I was. I tried to stun them all the time just for fun, but they almost everytime ressisted it. I think the probability of the Stun was maybe ~20% instead of 80% on the high levels. But I was able to stun low lvls almost all the time

That is with a warlock. Almost all the warlock curses can be resisted and will be if the gap between the skill and the opponent is too big. You were originally talking about soul spear, a stun that cannot be resisted.

Well on my old S/S Hybrid, I would still use the lower books of KD when one failed. Of course the chances are lower, but there are still Chances it will work. Same with my Glavie, would use GS-Prince for an extra KB or first SS to get an extra stun. Makes the difference and while chances are lower it will still go through sometimes.

isnt the probability to stun already covered by the skill itself? why would stun level be another probability? heuksal stun probabability is unlike bicheon's KD probability that is mastery level dependent.

well i dunno abt stun = 5sec duration always or it will un-stun after an attack. from my experience, it's not. it still feels to me level or book of stun skills influences duration of stun. for a lvl 1 book 1 stun, it's not gonna last 5sec on a lvl 80 character. but i've yet to test this though ...

folks with more experiences on this could share.

hmpf... looks like I have to make a new char and lvl him to lvl 14 for soul spear and then search higher lvl chars with a cape on to attack them to find out the probability.
