I starting a full strength blader and i am not sure how much of a lvl gap i should have. A lot of people say 5 is good, but i am not really sure.

no dude i go 4 gap the whole way and i dont need any extra sp... even tho i wanna farm for the 90 cap... lol

i was hyb blader, 4 will suffice but safer to have 5.

A 4 gap from lvl 20-90 537,449 SP SP you should be all set

IMO playing with a gap other than 0 and 9 is a waste of time. Furthermore, it is no fun at all.
With 9 gap you can collect all the SP much more faster. Than switch to 0 gap and play.
Just an educated guess: Time required to reach 60lvl with 4or5 gap is 3or4 times longer than with 9 and 0 gap combo.

I farmed 20k at a 9 gap (by myself no power faming) and wanted to shot my self after. I'd take the added time for enhanced game play any day. Just my thoughts.

3. SP Farming isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.

• First thing to do is to choose what “Build” you might like. If you have no clue consider looking at the various Guides here at SRF [LINK to SRF Guide Lists] and find one that people say is difficult to mess up like Pure Strength.
• Then make your character but don’t worry too much about your initial selections – they can be changed later if you like.
  
  
  
• The next thing (after you’ve leveled up and completed a couple quests) is to take a look at the SP calculator and understand the basics of “Gapping” your character. [URL for Nivlam Skill Planner] & [URL for Nivlam Skill Point Gap Calculator]

I am guessing you have never been lvl 80 getting less than 0.01% exp a kill with a 0 gap AND ticket. Yeah, have fun leveling with a 4/5 gap. Farming with a 9 gap is worth it, so you can 0 gap faster, get your skills faster, and in general just level faster. No matter how boring farming with a 9 gap can be, just wait till you are lvl 72, struggling to get to 73 with a 5 gap. Oh wait, the new lightning chain is next level. Oh well, too bad, you are going to have to wait 5 extra levels in order to get it. Like said before in this topic, anything other than a 0 or 9 gap is pointless, with a few exceptions.

Farming at 9 gap with yourself is just a pain. I tried with my char too. But, if you find someone to help you powerfarm, you cannot even follow the sp you get It was just amazing for me. And, I cursed the time I spent with my other char at 5 gap.

9 Gap at lv42 ftw.


Or just powerfarm at ongs.

I would farm atleast 20k sp if your a blader cause they need their skills and buffs. Then farm some more later.
