question about warlocks

Which build would warlocks be better with??
If I go pure str warrior/warlock, its gonna be the debuffs and other skills, so no blood flower and other mini-nukes.
If I go pure int warlock/cleric, I'm gonna farm enough for the whole tree.

What I wanted to ask is which of these builds would be better for pts and pvp, like job wars and FW??
I dont really want to be the tank in the pts but I also dont want to die all the time so I'm having a really hard time deciding.
I watched Vapore's videos and he is a legend but that was soloing, no parties.

If anyone has any idea, pls help and write down the pros and cons for each build.
Also pls no noob replies, like one I saw before..."if you go rogue/bard, you can shoot bolts further because of bard passive skills"....wth :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I know rogue would be a good build coz it does good dmg and is a str build but I already have 1 and want to try a new build.

Oh and don't vote without leaving a reason for why you picked that build....like someone just did. :x

As far as i know Warl/Cle dont die often, be it solo or party. They've got a shield, debuffs, lots of status when casting DOTs, Cleric as a support as well. My friend's got a Warl/Cle, and he dies like once in 2-3 days ( 3 hours of grinding everyday ). He could kill party, giants, party champion no problem. No Party Giant solo though :D

IMHO the two build equals each other in terms of deadliness and versatility. I would personally pick War-Warl, since i love swords, and EU 1H-sword happens to be too sexy to resist :P

Both are exceptionally strong builds. My warlock/cleric is very useful for partying (I can cleric -still gotta farm my buffs-, debuff and do some damage, and heck I can pull mobs with my debuffs.) In pvp I can't even tell which is better. With my warlock cleric the only thing that gets in my way is a strong nuker with ice shield, but I am starting to manage that by using a 72 1h sword. Warrior warlocks are also great in parties but I'd imagine they'd use warrior for the buffs and tanking, warlock would be obsolete since the buffs would disappear when you switch. Pvp wise, amazing when you use the build right.

Both builds need skill to use, you can't manage to get it powerlvled then try to learn how to play once your 80, it won't work.

On a side note, warlock clerics can solo party giants >_> It just takes a hell long time of course but then again i'm not pure int.

I hope that helps someway :S
