Im making a new Bard with Cleric sub.. which armor would be best.. robes or Light armor?

since you can recover your mp with bard skills,robes wont make much of a difference and you can pick light armor for the extra physical defence
eventhough the robes give you more speed, moving march makes up for that
if you plan on PVPing alot, and you go pure int, what you wear probably wont matter since with ints, its either 1 shot kill or 1 shot killed

My choice would be robe.

Besides looking better, robes boosts your healing power as well. Since you're a main bard, you dont benefit from the light armor passive ( as you're not using cleric rod as main weapon ). Also, with the combination of robe + mana tambour, you have more chance of surviving a wizard stealth nuking you.

BTW bard main in PVP is sexy A bit like a batter between music and brute force

robes 8 degree is hot!! And, you can walk/run faster.

Haha I've always thought robes for the most part look gay.
And I'm stuck with them cause I'm wizard/bard...

I personally chose to go with Light Armor but thats only because I'm wizard/cleric and play Cleric in Parties unless there is another one there; but my main is wizard when soloing. 5D Robes honestly look gay for male characters, too brightly colored. Plus the Cleric Passives for Light armor make up for the slight speed reduction compared to robes.

For Bard/Cleric build, I'd say just stick with robes. On of our Union guild leaders, Lokea from L_O_N_C is a Bard/Cleric and he just owns and has no need for horses since he can outrun them with Swing march. Insane how much power a pure buff class has.

Haha...I think almost all robes look gay

Light armor because you get defense 'buffs' (passives) from cleric when you wear light armor (and have those passives lvled ofc)..The bard will make up for the 10% speed loss lolz.
