I have a small question to ask..

Im 48 lvl cleric (pure int so far) and had PVP with a blader of 44 lvl. I have updated 48 lvl NPC set with rod n shield of same lvl means nothing low lvl im wearing.

But, I noticed I could nt eighter tank him nor kill him..except once when I attacked him with offering (n tuk the screenshot immediately ) ..nywy so is cleric too weak in PVP? That he cant even tank or kill a blader of 44 lvl? This is shyt man in fact my skills are updated…or is this sumthing wrong with my game play? I tuk all the buffs, bless when available, recovery division always bt he kept on burn me and killed me… my anti burn buff dint work?

Guys.. Pls suggest something..

don`t worry about pvp too much right now, cleric is always useful in any situation.

wear prot. make sure you update the defense increase passive, you will do fine on later levels.

Thanx, one more thing pls, can one stay happy with cleric as main character? Cos I don’t knw much abt SP usage and farming..I keep on adding masteries of cleric only.. so will I be useful and strong enough always?

1st of all, blader (and prolly chinese pure str bow) is a euro killer...

being cleric = support char and not the front hero taking the kills and offering is meant to be the last resort if enemy tries to get u down cuz of ur powerful ress/heal/buff

lastly for the sub, seems u wanna be a hero anyway, so choose either rogue xbow/dagger or wiz as ur main
both needs alot sp, wiz needs more technique to play wif cuz it dies ALOT but kills alot too

rogue/cleric is the most common build, killer and survive well

PS: juz wanna comment that dagger/cleric in bless is really counter-Blader build

Why do u worry about 1v1 ? cleric isnt meant to pvp 1v1, although he can do that not bad. cleric is meant to play in party, give buffs, give heals, and use some combat skills in case he's in danger and no one is around.

hey why a cleric is nt meant for PVP..? I hv read many threads n understood that every character has its own ROLE but they are equally strong and capable of doing things here on SRO.. hw can u say cleric is nt meant for PVP.. prolly one need to learn hw to play with this...? I beleive I hv done a big mistake buying preimum on cleric.. I cud hv better made a chiense one..I dont wanna be a social character who joins party for others n keep them alive.. n if someone dies of its own stupidy... u put the blame on me

i didnt say it's not meant for pvp, i said it's not meant for 1v1.
all the idea behind the euro update and euro chars is team work and not solo, thus a euro player gets much more benefit by playing in a team than in solo. you WILL be not bad, and maybe pretty good in pvp 1v1. but you wont give ur fully potential as in a euro team.

get to 80 1st, then we talk. any discussion on low lvl pvp is nonsense.

Pure ints die fast already, and even with the better protection a cleric is no exception.

Maybe try something a little different.

For me, I took 10 levels of warrior so I can do a shield trash/knockback and maybe a dull. Blader has to get close to you so why not push him away which gives you a second or two to maybe throw an offering?

Otherwise, Euros were meant mainly for party play. 2 clerics together make one STRONG tanking team, because the int/str buffs can't be applied to their own char.

My PVP @ 55 consists of basically tanking until I can throw Offering. Trial Cross won't ever outright kill a char at this level.

There are other high level clerics here so I will bow to their experience, this is just my thought.

i got an idea, get one of those warlock stuns and after hes stunned, change to cleric rod and offering

PURE cleric is NOT built to kill, its built to SUPPORT other characters
if u wanna kill, get cleric as a sub and use wiz/rogue/warrior as main, thats a killer build

and stop talking abt that offering, yes it can kill any 1 but cleric only has that 1 single offering attack, u cant spam it like wiz nukes or rogue attack skills cuz it has long cd, its meant to be a last resort where 2 many enemy gang down on u

if its 1v1 cape fight, den go ahead and do offering every single time to kill

offering is not the only cleric attack skill.
its the most effective skill but other skills are very useful even in 1on1 problem is you probably cant kill any chinese builds with those skills.

guys for sure Pure INT cleric is good. I raised a question firstly, nw i myself realized that its strong in taking damage and with its buffs it can continue to heal and kill anyone.. yes its tough bt surely u can..even to the same lvl.. n with absolute damage n trial cross both.. hwever, I wud like to ask something else nw..

Someone above talked abt 10 warrior skill for shield.. I wud like to knw the exact name of the skill and also that, whther it can be casted without taking a warrior wepon? I mean can I use this skill carring a cleric rod n shield? if so, its great... no one told me before mannn
N Im 26 lvl wizz too.. bt since I dont farm i wasted this mastiery n lots of SPs nywy.. Im gona cover all with a Primium plus

lvl 10 shield trash, KB 80% regardless of enemy level
yes u can cast it wif cleric rod/shield, doesnt need warrior weap

cool.. and also tell me this skill "shield trash" shud be levelled upto 10 only? theres no need to lvl it up after lvl 10? THis is amazing.. n does it work all of the times? Means if I use it on a mob, will it work? wil it knock back him? XD Im getting exited nw...

yes mob/players alike, all KB 80% regardless of mob/player lvl
thats why ppl get it only at lvl 1 (requires warrior mastery lvl 10)

and there is a status "dull" comes with shield trash but it will only works if u max shield trash out (and the warrior mastery max out as well to get it)
for lvl 8 dull (effective on 8D players 64+), u need the shield trash that gives lvl 8 dull

if u use lvl 1 shield trash on high lvl player, no dull status but there will still be 80% KB...and yes 80% = works almost all the time

i think its 3sec, not too sure for cd,
shield trash has low dmg, warriors use it mainly for KB and casting dull sometimes, so only use it when ur hp is running low and need to repot or u wanna canel ur enemy's skill

Get some warlock skills as well.
Stun works wonderfully. If you're fast enough, stun him ( 5 secs ) , switch to Cleric, offering. That's it.

A while a go ( well, some days ago ) i've seen a video on utube when a 80 cleric kills a 80 SUN BLADER in a fair PVP. OMG, you have to see it when the blader runs away from offering like a wizard running away from a party giant and BOOM, he went down just like anybody else

ha ha ha really,... I wud luv to be that strong n 80 lvl one day..bt listen, as u said warloack skills.. tell me pls only those skills which dont need to be levelled up ragularly.. and have good stuns or KB or fear or any good buffs.. means Like we have warrior lvl 10 shield trash, KB 80% regardless of enemy level.. I want such skills for PVP.. im a big PVP fan enjoy a lot.. bt mistake or unknowingly I hv levelled up to 26 lvl my wizz
