I'm very confused about the hybrid builds people are putting 7:1 is 70 lvls of int and 10 lvl of str. But wtf does 1:5,2:6,3:4 mean its just confusing to me. can anyone help me understand this ?

7:1 u can easily do 10 str lvls and 70 int lvls.

for everything you dont understand, take it lvl by lvl. like 5:1 >> add 3 int one lvl, then the next one add 2 int and 1 str. So in total its 5 int and 1 str.

etc.

I could be wrong, i dont do 3:1 5:1 6:9 builds, i tend to go by % phys/mag balance.

all i can see is, seriously, if you want to be a great hybrid (chinese i suppose, or warlock) Play with the balances, dont do it by ratios.

Yeah, adding to what Ice typed: ratios often suck. Go by phy/mag balance, its much easier to keep track of.

The first hybrid i built was so fun, cause like, it was when barely nobody knew about hybrids do u guys remember?
Going hybrid with an int was like "ZOMG DONT GO HYBRID". And then one 70 hybrid sworder showed up and everyone got raped

So all i did was like, "Oh, i think i need some more hp" "Oh, i think i need more mag power" And i'd make plans towards that. And that was so much fun, lvling after getting new skills, adding pts to str and int and beeing like "Lets see if this works out" And then ud go to pvp and u'd rape but get raped by a strong glaiver and id think "Damn, imma try to get the higher lvl imbue and get a better head part and imma come here again and rape that glaiver *gets that stuff, comes back to dw south and rapes* It was so cool, thats what kept me going cause everytime id pvp, without great gear i still did great!
Even tho nowadays u dont need to do that, like see what balance fits you the best going % by %, cause everything's been tryed so you can just follow other ppl.

OT: go with the balances and always remember that what ever build you choose there will always be a time that you will win and times that you will lose. Just enjoy the game.

i remember around my late 3x/4x, i told that to my guild members, and like me and my gm were "enemies" He loved to say sh1t about pvping me, always supporting glaivers, that pissed me off so we used to argue about it all the time.
I remember when i said i was going hybrid, he immediatly said, "lmao it's gonna be even easier to beat ya in pvp then"
LAL , we pvped when we were 5x, and i raped him, and he had a sos glaive

Exactly man, I get a bunch of pms from people asking if I went 1:3 or 1:2 or w/e on my warlock. I just tell them I adjusted based on mastery balances as I leveled up. That's the way to do it.

but then how much mag balance should i have naked ?
if i'm spear and also if i'm s/s?
