Well crossbow has range which is always good. But dagger is just cooler IMO

Take both, they are both really useful. I use crossbow for pve and daggers for parties/pvp and jobbing, but crossbow is still really useful in pvp and jobbing is u hav a cleric sub.

yea, you wont be doing too much pvp before that and you wont have to worry so much about sp at beginning levels if you do that. Good choice to start with xbow for range/kb/kd while leveling.
You could just get xbow because you will be fine in pve and pvp. xbow are capable of pvping because of the range/kb/kd but people prefer strong fast skills with daggers like prick and the fact that the dagger skills get plus damage used in stealth.

It will take 300,000 sp to have dagger/xbow and bard subclass for 80 cap, should i go with 4 gap or farm at higher lvls?

keep maybe a 2-3 gap and farm it later, or even a 0 gap if you dont mind lagging a skill tree behind, maybe like daggers. It is much easier to farm it later so you wont feel like giving up at earlier levels (unless you have the patient) and most of the sp is needed at higher lvls.
Also, at anytime you get a sox or a good + weapon, you could open up your gap to grind a longer time with easier kills

every time i went jobing with my daggers they would see me and kill me before i can reach them
thats why i find xbow better

take both.
xbow: range, higher dmg in low lvls, is very useful in pve, kd and kb.
dagger: more dmg after 40, not range, usually 1-hit enemies, better in pvp, has status (i dont know them tho).
i think u should farn at higher lvls (with xbow, farming is easy), and 4 gapping will be a pain in the ass, as well as u will have to wear lower lvl equipment.

Daggers can cause stun, bleed, and dull if im not mistaken.

is it ok if i take pure crossbow with bard subclass, i hate farming and i could do a 2 gap. Or is dagger really recommended(have to)cause i would be fine with just crossbow.

dont get a subclass and be dagger and crossbow. if you do that you could go 0 gap and level really fast

just opening your gap at high lvls to 9 and then closing it, around 60 to 70 is about 200k sp and 300k at 70 to 80. This isn't really farming but it does take awhile to lvl. Plus you get the 40k at 0 gap to 60. If you want to get more, just farm a little at high levels. If you really don't want to spend too much time on it just get a 2 gap.

If you have to take 1 it should be XBow. Better overall but there are times where Daggers are better.
