i heard that trade prices depend on how many people traded a particular item in that 24 hour time frame.

for example the more of one sort of good comes in the less in demand it will be worht in return.

but as usual its just another thing from the rumor mill

This is true. On busy days Horseshoes sometimes sell in Jangan for under 300% profit when they should be selling for 387% profit. For this reason I always trade the second most valuable item when doing 1-stars, to make sure I get full profit.

It's not absolute real-time. It'll be 387% for ages and then make a sudden drop when lots of goods get sold. If not enough is being sold at the same time, it'll still be 387% regardless. The figures only ever seem to change when there is a substantial amount of trading taking place.

I'm pretty sure one time I was the only trader near the jangan specialties store, and I was selling off my leathers (I think), and the profit was going down each time I sold.
