Nuker with sword or spear passive skills?

I am a fire/light nuker, mainly fire nuke/imbue + light buff. For i chose sword as my weapon mastery. Which one would it be better? Spear lvl 60 passive gives additional of 1k hp looks attractive.

I don't find the sword melee skills useful for a nuker (flying dragon + ghost spear = great for a nuker), meaning don't get sword just for the melee skills.
I also personally find it's better to get a level 60 spear passive which works all the time then a couple extra % blocking that activates occasionally. Even if you're using a sword.
Personal taste, everyone will tell you different, unless they're opinionless and base their arguments solely on what they've read in one guide.

go with the spear mastery, but use a sword/shield in pvp

Get spear passive. Even with 20+% block sometimes u dont
block anything for a while and without the spear passive
this means that ur dead =p

me = 90fire/90light/60heuk/60ice
give or take from each but thats the main setup
i went ice cuz the ice buffs are really versatile
also i go:
pve = spear
pvp = sword/shield

For now.. i might start using spear than change to sword + shield when i am higher lvl for PvP. My question is.. I am equipped with sword + shield but without the weapon mastery what's the reason/purpose behind it?
Now i am lvl 37, with lvl20 sword + fire/light lvl 33. Farming around 1k+ of sp. Should i de-level my sword skills?
Another question, i can kill creatures at my lvl with 2 hit fire and light nukes. Is that alright for a nuker? How can i make my magic balance higher?
