Mag and Phy balance?

I dont understand the Mag and Phy balance and what INT and STR does.. Can someone explain?
the higher your phy % the more your phy dmg does the higher your mag % the more your mag attacks do.
If you add str to your char that means your % goes up. If you add int your mag goes up. Most people chose a pure str or int char but some also go hybrid. You can find some nice guids about this on the forum ^^
