Take light armor. Glory armor + favor armor passives make it the better choice for cleric.

Light Armour.
Robes are more for healing, while Light Armour applies you to heal (a teeny bit less good as robes), tank, etc.

go light armor ...
till 42 or a bit more you won't have hard time killing chinesse char of your own lvl + they won't hit you hard so won't be able to kill you
well i am talking from own exp ... with sos +3 set
