Hi - 1st off want to say thanks to Ryoko for this site, so useful for finding your feet in SRO. Anyhoo, been one of the silent ones reading the boards with interest but am now looking for some direct advice.

I started off my 2nd toon a while back and he's now a lvl44 with a grude against baboons. He was a pure int originally but to be honest I got so bored with just nuking everything I started investing SP into sword skills and working some combo's out. Much more fun! So this got me thinking "Hey, let's go hybrid".

So any thoughts on a hybrid swordsman? Am kinda going for a 2.5:1 ratio (int/hp) still have mag over 90% and the phys is pushing 60%.... blues ftw! Thinking behind it is just enough hp to survive a pure str crit and do some fairly big damage with knockdowns and stabs.

Im doing the same, but with a spear. And yes, its much more
fun when u have a lot of skills to play and can keep creating
weird combos all the time LOL^^

The Hybrid does much better them a pure int would
do.

From the video, i guess u will need to level ur knockdown xD

Hybrids really are great invention like kiraty's hybrid.

Boosh if i were you id go with a more str heavy ratio... like 2:1 since youll be doing ALOT more close up combat than a pur int would be... plus its just easier to keep track of.. lol

lol kitary's build, while is good, is not the greatest close range PvP build, which i assume is what he wants.

if you want to be a close range fighter, go 80% magic balance, you'll have enough hp to take hits, and since swords are easy to find with high crits, you'll be doing massive amounts of damage.

wait til this june update though......... if the new alchemy system which adds stats is coming out, go 75/75 lol
