i have a lvl 80 pure str character rite now..he is currently glavie...i have been observing my char in various things such as PVP, job warz, 1v1 ect.

i want my character to be able to be really strong...so my 2 main goals with my character is to: TANK and KILL

should i switch to STR BOW or stay GLAVIE?
plz state ur opinion at 80 and 90 caps...ThX much

Stay glavie, and the only way to be strong is wear higher + gears. And also get a sun weapon, then you be one of the strongest.

Like stated pimp out your gear..

bow is really nice too, i like the bow skills in later cap, it looks like a missile

No builds can be Good Tankers and do very good damage..
As glavier, you have a little bit of both.
As bow, kinda the same, lower hp, but more knock back.
As blader, you are a good tanker, and if you have a good crit on your blade, and you get bleed/divison etc on your enemy, he's dead

Blader is one of my favourites.. Theyre hard to kill, and usually is the one standing at last ^^ (After a long time tho)

Yea, I was fighting Lord Yarkan by myself with blader/shield for good old 10 minutes when we have that 10 minute inspection on Sunday. Everybody dies, I die when I switch to glavie though. Should have never switch to glavie. lol

Bow won't be able to kill at higher gaps without SUN bows, as other build's attacks develop to become more powerful and their amount of HP raises Strong Bow and Anti Devil Bow become less and less dominating, already if you watch kSRO videos you will see that most bowmans play the role of the annoying pest spamming KBs. I suggest taking a glavier instead, good damage, great tanking ability, an overall great build.

yes i 2 would stick with glavie...theres just something about glavies when i pvp them that makes me wanna be one...although bows arent so bad either

... at 120 cap anti devils have 50 crit increase...
r u telling me that anti devil isnt gona be dominating? :O

You don't need a sun weapon or sun gears to own. SoX are way overrated

Im dont really agree with they can kill lol...Even with division they have to crit on the right skills to kill other pure strs =/

Anyway...Kill = bow/glaive, Tank = blade (perhaps glaive abit because of the hp and fan storm)

i like bow better myself.
crits are evil for bowers
so if you have a Good high crit bow, its easy to kill.
glavies are also cool only i dunno, so many ppl are glaviers (and i never feel like walking ALL the way to the monster i want to atack )

and bladers are still kinda killable =[
specialy for pure int s/s... diversion bleed (switch to spear if you have one lol) and they are dead.
exept for those really really strong bladers, who are simpely close to immortal =P

Stick with yout glavier.
Althoug my personal opinion is bow rocks.
The best overall build is glaivie exactly what you need.

Bow rocks at grinding. Damn i was killing PEG's so quickly, even with 9 gap and low lvl skills. BUT, after some time, it gets boring. NO moves, just shooting. So i switched to blade again.

I'd say stay glaive, they are popular in kSRO.

No offense agaist bladers, but the only people (without sun) that they can pretty much kill is lvl 80 ints who suck like shit.

I find bladers a mere annoyance. I usually don't fight them (unless they are inferior on some way). What pisses me off is when they just won't stop attacking you, without realizing that they can't kill you. I have 20K HP, and they hit me for 6K (crit) at most. I mean seriously... why are so many bladers just plain dumb
