Don't you guys find that in pvp glavie users still die to Hidden Blade Series and Killing Heaven Blade Series from blade/sword users?

I mean that full strength blade comes knocking you down with a 50% rate and a very fast recovery.

how do you guys counter this?

yup..it really depends though.. the blade guy might block plenty of the things and not get stunned, but the glavie might crit on a soul spear and own him...

glavie Vs blade is a long boring fight..
its just a matter of luck.
also depends on the weapon crit and the sheild block ratio..
i am blader and i hate fighting glaviers

doenst matter how much u knock and stab him
bladers dont die and dont kill

yeah, i thought the 50% knockdown rate was a little much, compared to glavie's stun and all.

so it all boils down to a game of luck?

Yes every glaiver ive fought has been a fight that ended when we said "Enough" even on jobs. Neither one dies and it gets boring after a while.

I idea of a blader is to tank.. not to kill fast..
Blader is good in groups.. like for me i thief alot . but with a nuker friend..
I usualy go ahead first and start the fight. they she start using the lighting/fire nukers from a range..
we really make a good team togather.

Bladers are horrible killers in groups since they can only use chains(unless its a Blader group, then they can use Knockdown), but they are great tanks.

IMO, the point of a blader is to lock someone down until they run out of pots, you teleport with a scroll(thieves), or until your guildmates arrive and beat the shit outta the guy you were fighting.

the person said bladers are good in groups shiz, not bladers are good KILLERS in groups. he says the tactics he use are just like you described: blader goes in first to tie up the person while his teammate waits then nukes the guy while the blader is fighting.

In group PVP, I use ice instead of fire, because ice is better suited than fire in that situation

Blades are great in groups . How else would the nukers live through the masses of Pure Strs.

but a level 70 blader full strength would also have around that amount of hp, plus their shield

any experienced glaviers to share some tips on pvp against bladers?

A blader would have about 1k less hp than a glaiver of the same level because of the Heuksal passive, but the higher the level you're comparing at, the less it matters because the smaller fraction that 1k is of the total hp.

yeah, plus one knockdown with stab would equate to that 1k
