Wizard/Warlock?

Post by Haha07 »

I was thinking of going wizard/warlock...and i was wondering how effective that build would be in pvp and jobbing. I couldn't find much help by searching so I'm asking everyone what would be better...wizard/warlock or wizard cleric. If you could post some wizard/warlock videos in pvp.

Thanks.

I thought of this build before too, but there are really no references at the moment to such builds so Im leaving my wizard pure wizard atm.

Anyway I was thinking again, is there any point in it? Its workable, but any point? Coz wiz has high damage already and even if your so power-hungry, you would be compromising hp, def and everything for power. Most wiz go cleric for bless spell, but warlock thats really something new.

Like stun, curse, nuke -- thats like impossible to survive. But is it worth spending time and SP on warlock skills as a wizard ?

Used it up until level 60. I realized then that I just couldn't support farming all the wizard nukes so I instead had wizard as a sorta "support" for my warlock, taking advantage of invisibility, TELEPORT, earth barrier, and destealth. It was a ton of fun jobbing and pvping. Until it came to soloing, I died quite too often back then and decided to try something new.

Hi their :S first of all a Wizard/Warlock Full Farmed Build is gonna cost you around 350-450K of SP :o!!! I know thats alot lol.

Well its very very effective in pvping dealing massive damages, also stunning, combat raze (reducing enemys attck about 40%), sleep, make u a deadly killer, I Would suggest makin a hybrid instead of a pure int. Also against PvM ( Players vs monster hehe just incase =P) its useless to even use the warlock just go straight wiz.

Im no expert on the build but im a lvl 56 currently and i can beat anyone 3-4 my lvls very easyily, but be warned ur gonna get aloooot of b1tching from other players, about using stun, sleep and crap.

Heres a tip if theirs a guy 6-8 lvls higher than you.

Stun - Fire Bolt, Ground Charge = u should be able to pull off 2 moves before stun is removed lol :D

If you want to piss someone off heres a funny thing i usually do in pvps..

I Stun, Vampire Touch, Sleep, Life Control, Walk over to them and activate Smile animation, then Fire Bolt :D

i play on Neptune under the name Gift if you got any questions hit me up hehe :S

oooOOO one more thing, Wizard/Cleric is horrible heres a example..

Holyward is up to lvl 8, while the warlock Wheel Bind curse is up to lvl 9 which holyward cant effect thus making all ur curses effective :D

warlock >>> cleric :P

i'm lvl 50 fully farmed warlock/wiz (used up all my sp for event xD) and i got to say it pwns. its a lot funner than jsut being wizard trying to one hit everyone. with warlock you can take on people 4-5 levels higher if you know what you're doing. the only downfall is the sp you need. i need about 500k sp to get the fire and ice nukes (must have's) and max warlock. for leveling you would go to mosnters about 2 levels higher than you and just 1-2 hit everything, and if theres a giant or pt mob you switch to warlock and kill it. takes longer but you have ahigher chance of survival. But this warlock/wiz i screwed up because I didn't go pure int (i don't know if hbrid is better tho) and it has no sp which hurts. So i'm using this character to powerfarm my new warlock/wiz ^^.

anyways warlock/wiz is basically a pvp character, and i'm noob so i haven't learned how to deal with mroe than two ppl attacking me

its good in pve too for me
get a dog and have it aggro around 5 mobs at once to clear out area around you so nothing is near
and when all 5 attack dog, just the big aoe nukes

and giants are worst for wizards to fight, but warlocks can tank them

imo this class is just overkill
you already do massive dmg as a wizard and eventhough you will be able to kill easier with warlock as sub, a sub is there to cover up your weaknesses
cleric or bard would be better but in terms of fun, this class PWNS

warlock does cover wizard weakness...

nothing gets close enough for wizard to get hit and if they do use warlock to finish them
