sword and i dont know what you mean but prioritise....do you mean the most important skill? that would probably be knockdown and stab...

ALthough Spear will hit alot harder than Sword and Shield, they will die alot faster. If you take Sword and Shield, you can use Lighting Chain and give Impotent, Bleed, and Division which will allow you to hit as hard as a 7:1 Int Spear Nuker, but you will be allowed to Block and have an increased amount of defense. Plus when snow runs out you can Knockdown and Stab and use Iron Shield until you are allowed to use snow again and survive much longer.

To topic starter, I'd advice you to listen to LockStar, considering he's level 80 full farmed spear user who made a guide telling you to go s/s.

Well, since you're 1:7 you'll have a lil' more def and quite more hp than a pure int would have s/s or spear. It depends on what you want more: more damage and even more hp (heuksal passive), but less defense and tanking ability, or lesser damager but more br (blocking ratio), and more defense due to a shield?

Well, with either build you can still kill. You just gotta prioritize which characteristic you want more. Hope that'll make your decision easier ^,^
