need to ask something about xbow

hey i am lvl 30 pure str rogue, i brought a xbow which is +5 but the +5 thingy on the top doesn't have a color like blue or something, i mean enchancement has a color when u enchnce it... is it possible that some monster droped it and if i enchance it would it work?? or will it fail? i mean if it is the first time will it work??

blue names means it has a blue attribute at bottom
yellow means it is a seal item
white means its just ugly

so white means it is not enchance with any weapon elxirs??

It means that it has not been enhanced by alchemy tablets. Don't worry your crossbow really is +5, and if you're doubtful buy an NPC one and compare the damage.

but if i enchance it with a weapon elxir will it fail or pass?? few days a ago i got a sword lvl 14 which was +4 from a monster? so is it possible that my crossbow is a monster drop???

It works just like normal alchemy, it doesn't have a 100% sucess only because its a white item, i suggest to leave it at +5 since the chances of it going to +6 are rather small. And i highly doubt that its a monster drop, such highly +'ed items are even more rare then SoS.
