should i go pure int or hybrid for my s/s nuker?
if i go hybrid ill go 7:1 int:str

Well, it really depends on what you want more...
Do you want to do slightly more dmg, but not have as much hp, or do you want to do slightly less dmg, but have 1433 more hp (due to the 30 str added from the 1:7 ratio)

I have an int hybrid s/s, and by sacrificing more dmg I'll have 2246 more hp than a pure int by Lv80 (I chose to have more tanking ability than dmg).

Just find out what you want more...more dmg, or a better tanking ability.

Go as a pure int. The point of being a nuker is to dish out as much damage as you can. Dont hybridise unless you want to live longer but ints dont die as much if you have a good br on your sheild and snow shield

Hybrid. Surviving > damage.

yeah hybrid is better, its 1:7, your still gonna dish out a lot of dmg. If you hate dying, dont go pure. I have pure int in parties who die in just several hits by a mob, crits are worse. Its a pain in the ass getting ressed and losing xp every 10 min. You might think that your heavy dmg can keep the mobs at bay, but you can't guarentee that a giant is going to spawn right next to you and then crit you

My level 38 pure int (11:1, very close to pure, but i use spear) never dies against those level 42 flower things...not even against a party giant. Trust me its not that bad going pure int.

There's no 'set' way to build ints. Even as a hybrid you can dish out a lot of damage. The point to go hybrid is to survive more. Pure ints die a ton if they don't have good gears. A good BR shield does help sometimes, but it doesn't block everything. And snow shield only works for 2 mins...if you can't kill something in those 2 mins, you might be boned when it turns off.

Pure ints are really good in pve, but I think we're more focused on pvp in this sense. With good gears a pure int can take on higher level mobs with ease, especially while using a spear. Also, at those levels mobs don't hit for that much, wait till you're higher level and mobs are hitting 1k+ on you if you don't have good gears. In some share pts, I'm the one surviving a ton better than the pure ints.

I was just commenting on what Jstar said. He said the Pure Ints die to giants... They dont.

k thx i think im going to go hybrid. so should i max snow shield or not? because of the less mp

7:1 sword can use max snow shield because of the shield but im not sure if spear can

I'm lvl 48,, hybrid s/s, aiming for a 90-93% balance naked. Right now I have an 88% balance and I EASILY die against mujiji party giants in 2-3 hits, so if you mean regular giant i understand, but party giant...you must have full sosun with full str or someone else is doing the tanking. Anyways i really enjoy the extra HP I have. I have hueksal passive at lvl 30 as well and the 329 HP helps out a bunch, even though i will have to delvl it at about level 65.

I said that when a party giant spawns right next to you. Sure, all you gotta do is throw a couple nukes and its dead, but when it spawns right next to you while your killing some other mob, you'll be in trouble. Stuff like that happens a lot

7:1 hybrid spearmans cant use 50% snow shield,i have that build,i had 50% snow shield,in garment i barely had mana to atack.in prot i didnt had mana at all....i was standing there and couldnt do nothing.

i was thinking to change my char to sword too,yes it will be a less dmg dealer then spear,but shield makes a lot of difference in defese,+ on 73 lvl u have that combo which gives impotent ,division and bleed status to an enemy.

impotent makes his atack power weak,and bleed and division cots down his defense a lot....so when he have that statuses he can go down pretty easy...

for spearmans there is a problem...when u activate snow shield,if u cant kill im within 2 minutes u cant kill it....when your snow shield goes down you are dead :S...

but as a sword man when your snows shield runs out,u can do knock down while u have the cooldown time for snow shield...and then activate it again....as a s/s hybrid(pure ints also fights like thies) while u have your snow shield and with your shield together u can tank a lot,so in that 2 minutes your job is to give him division and bleed stats ,when u do so,u nuke him knock down and stab if its nesecery and he is down under bleed and division.
